Location Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, and only a short walk or free shuttle ride from the lifts and the Village, the Wildwood Lodge is one of Whistler's great affordable condo-hotels; featuring an outdoor heated pool (summer only) with breathtaking mountain views, and a huge outdoor hot tub. Shared laundry and secure ski/snowboard and bike storage are available. The underground parkade has two level-2 EV Charging Stations (C$1.50/hour).

Things to know ⌂ Parking - Clearance 6'9" Each property comes with one free parking spot in the secure underground parkade and there is a limited amount of visitor parking spots. ⌂ No smoking, no pets, no parties, no bikes permitted inside units, minimum booking age of 25. ⌂ Base occupancy is 2 adults and max occupancy is 4 adults. The 3rd and 4th adult pay C$35 per night per person. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge. ⌂ This home does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area. ⌂ Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request. ⌂ There are three steps in the hallway leading to your property. Host is very responsive, free parking that you have access before checking in is great plus. Room is super clean. It is not ski in and out but can be walked to gondola in less than 10 minutes.
A comfortable and quiet place. Close to the slopes. A bit quirky in the layout (couldn’t get the luggage cart to our room because of two seemingly random stairs in a hallway). But the place felt safe. On the bus line. Could ski out to Blackcomb gondola if the snow was good enough.the hosts were helpful and communicative.

Great for skiing Blackcomb! The walk to the lift is scenic but short. I'm unsure if the rate was lower directly from the Outpost website, but they prefer it to be booked from there. That's the only thing I'd potentially change about our trip. Also took some thought to figure how to keep skis and boots out of the unit but it turned out not to be a big deal. The ski locker was convenient. Great stay, would recommend. We also enjoyed they complimentary snacks!
This was a great little condo that my son and I shared for a snowboarding trip. The fireplace was cosy and useful for drying damp items. The kitchen is well equipped, including a French press, scissors, corkscrew and can opener. There were lots of hooks for snowboard gear. The welcome package was a nice touch with coffee, Pellegrino, chocolate and popcorn. The communication from Outpost was exceptional. I’m scraping for recommended improvements, and the only one I can think of is to add condiments - ketchup and mustard to the kitchen. Great place to stay.
The resort was exactly as described with everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable.
We were very pleased with the communication about check in, which made the process easy.
We encountered a slight problem after check in but Kristina on the front desk was brilliant and resolved it to our satisfaction. She really is an asset to the organisation, helping with bus times and directions and always greeted us as we came in and out.
The apartment had everything that we needed and is well placed for walking into Whistler or up to the Lost lake.
The pool and jacuzzi was nice.
The place was very nice and as advertised. The bed was comfy. The couch not so much but we weren't sitting for long as there is so much to do in the area. When we opened the fridge the smell was terrible. It looked clean but there was a strong smell like rotten milk. We bought some baking soda and left it in there which seemed to help a little. Unfortunately everything we packed back into our cooler when we left smelled. Parking below was convenient but spots are a little tight (which seems to be the norm). There is parking right across the street along the road for overflow as well which is nice. Walking down to the gondola and village was easy & fun. Location is great. I was surprised to see there was an additional $500 charged to my card just before we checked in. When I spoke to Outpost they said that was a customary deposit charge and would be refunded about a week after checkout which I hope is the case. I don't recall seeing that mentioned when I made the reservation. Also, VRBO charged an additional $60 ish or so on top of everything.
This is our second time to stay at Wildwood, and we really love being there. It is well located, in easy walking distance to restaurants, trails, cycle rentals, ski lifts, and the upper and lower lower villages. The condominium itself is well appointed, bright, and very comfortable to spend a weekend. There is also plenty of storage space which makes it easy to keep everything neat and tidy.
