The Space:

Snow settles softly on the evergreens beyond your balcony, and the quiet of Whistler’s Upper Village feels almost hushed in the winter air. After a day on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain, you step inside, hang your gear in the mudroom, and let the warmth of the fireplace take over. Evenings unfold with mountain views beyond the windows and the steady glow of the fire reflecting off vaulted ceilings.



Living space

The open-concept living area is designed for gathering, with a cozy sectional arranged beside the indoor fireplace and a TV for relaxed nights in. Large windows draw in natural light by day, while heating throughout keeps the space comfortable during colder months. A dedicated workspace and high-speed wifi make it easy to balance remote work with alpine adventure. Just outside, the balcony offers outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill, extending your living space into the crisp mountain air.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals before or after a day outdoors, with stainless steel appliances, Caesarstone counters, and heated floors underfoot. Whether you’re brewing morning coffee or sharing a hearty dinner, you’ll have the space you need. The dining table seats eight, with additional seating at the breakfast bar - ideal for casual meals, or evening conversations that linger long after dessert.



Sleeping arrangements

Across three levels, the townhouse accommodates up to eight guests in four bedrooms. On the main floor, the primary bedroom features a king bed, wall-mounted TV, private balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and glass-enclosed shower. The second bedroom on this level offers a king-split bed, TV, and its own ensuite with a glass-enclosed shower. Downstairs, the third bedroom includes a king bed and deck access, while the fourth bedroom has a king-split bed and deck access. These two rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. In-unit washer and dryer, bathroom essentials, extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage add everyday convenience.



Amenities and comfort

A private entrance leads into a practical mudroom with bench seating and a boot dryer - a welcome feature after snowy outings. The home includes a safe, iron, and portable fans, along with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and a fire extinguisher for peace of mind. Secure underground parking for two vehicles is available in the free parking garage on premises, with additional free street parking. Guests also have access to a shared hot tub within the Snowbird complex - an inviting way to unwind after time on the mountain.



Located beside Blackcomb Mountain and on the free shuttle route, this Whistler townhouse places you close to ski lifts, village dining, and cross-country trails around Lost Lake, while offering the space and warmth of a true mountain retreat.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. Two designated parking spaces are provided in the underground parkade, along with access to the complex’s outdoor hot tub. Check-in is fully contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Snowbird is located in Whistler’s Blackcomb Benchlands, a quiet, wooded area just above the Upper Village. In winter, guests enjoy easy access to Blackcomb Mountain’s ski slopes via nearby trails. In summer, it’s a short walk to Lost Lake Park—perfect for swimming, biking, and hiking—and the Valley Trail, which connects to Whistler Village and beyond. This location offers a peaceful retreat with direct access to Whistler’s best outdoor experiences.



Getting Around:

• 13-minute walk to Blackcomb Gondola

• 18-minute walk to the Village Stroll

• 25-minute walk to Fresh Street grocery store or 4-minute drive

• 11-minute walk to Upper Village

• Free shuttle to the village: Turn left onto Painted Cliff Road, the bus stop will be on the right going uphill



Other Things to Note:

• Stairs. This home is spread over 4 floors with no elevator access to the living spaces

• Hot tub hours. The Snowbird complex shared hot tub is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM

• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbours, we have a strict no-party policy in this home

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Was clean and updated. In the description it does say there is no AC which wasn’t a big deal except the one day we arrived and it was 86 degrees inside (we stayed in July). There are fans in each room and it cooled down at night. If you’re using the garage entrance you’ve got to haul your luggage up 3 flights (which it also states in the description). We had a car rental but it was close enough to walk to the village. We would definitely stay there again.

Spotless and super location

This is by far the cleanest rental we've ever experienced! Sparkling clean. Really well appointed, with plenty of nice pillows on each bed. And the location was a super easy shuttle ride (or walk) to the mountain. We'll definitely be back.

My recommendation is to leave a map with instructions on the ski in and ski out. This was not what we expected. Taking a bus to & from the ski hill is much different than expected. Further instructions on walking and bus route to the village, restaurants and grocery store would be helpful for guests new to the area.

This house is a place you want to stay at whistler. It is a 3 level big townhouse, fully renovated very tasty and modern. The Whistler platinum people were. Very friendly and professional and helpful. Check in was very easy. Location was very close to village.
