Small room but ok

We booked late so we expected to pay a lot and we did for this very small room. It is fine except it is quite dated in terms of decor and appliances. On moving in my wife was unpacking and put her palm on the hot plate for the stove which was on fully due to a faulty connection. This left her with a bad burn which meant the first night was spent treating this. Luckily it was not too severe so did not mean we needed the ER and it didn't ruin the trip. Staff were good though and took it seriously - reported the incident and maintenance came and fixed the faulty equipment. We also had to have the toaster replaced as this was old and broken too. Facilities are good - hot tub and valet ski service are great to have.

Overall great hotel, room suit clean enough, but what really turned me off was the night clerk poor customer service, we had drove from Langley to Wishler got to the hotel about 9:00 pm tired ect.. went to checking in the clerk at the front desk was just rude, no friendly at all, it made the experience a bit less enjoyable as she made us feel like we were bordering her by just checking in and asking questions about the parking rates and the use of the pool ect...

Great stay

The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Loved having the little kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful and check in is really efficient. Only downfalls to our stay were: the pool really needs to be cleaned more often. There are no limits on people or time etc so it's a busy spot. It could use a mid day clean for sure. At check out time there are only one set of elevators which means a huge line to get down to the parkade. It took us thirty minutes to get from our room to the parkade with our bags etc. There should be a better process! Next time I'd check out early to avoid this.
