Great stay for a couple
Dave and Sarah's apartment had everything we needed for a 10 day stay. We like the location with shopping directly below apartment. Will happily stay again!

Not as advertised
While great location close to the lower village - this wasn't what we hoped for. The deck was essentially unusable due to the very loud industrial fan from the building next door. The carpets are torn, as was the bedding. Many lights burnt out throughout the apartment. The elevator worked twice in the first day and was broken the rest of the weekend, even when it did work the key pad had issues and couldn't always get it to work. Trying to find the staircase was an adventure itself. Couldn't imagine someone with mobility issues being able to even access the unit. Elevator being down made check out a lot harder. Dogs barking at 6am from down the hall made sure we were up early. Very dated apartment complex that needs some up keep. Was close to many great little cafés and restaurants at that end of the village.

We pride ourselves on offering a clean, comfortable and affordable way for our guests to enjoy Whistler and believe the listing and photographs represent the property accurately, but we will certainly do a review to ensure this is the case. We use a very professional cleaning company who ensure the linens are all spotless and also photograph before every stay to ensure all is up to standard. We'll review your feedback with them as we take items such as this very seriously. Regarding the elevator, there were some maintenance issues that week and we are sorry for any inconvenience. We will make a note to provide information on the staircase location in the unusual event any future guests need to take the stairs. We were very excited to go as this was our anniversary weekend. Was looking forward to alone time with my hubby and “assumed” the hot tub was attached not a communal hot tub. Disappointing! And the elevator was broken all weekend. I do have mobility issues so this did put a damper on the weekend as well. Recommend updating add to hot tub not attached!!

Easy and clean!
We were in whistler for a wedding. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. The building was very close to purebread bakery and the grocery store! We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect
Great cost for an adorable apartment! The snowboard equipment room with the heater when you first walk in has so much space. Bed was comfy, would definitely stay again!

Perfect location
We had a great time at Dave and Sarah’s. Super close to shops and restaurants, everything is right at your doorstep. Also liked how quiet it was at night.. we would definitely stay here again..

Epic Location with a toddler!
This is my second return! This time with a toddler. This was such an epic location especially with a toddler and steps away from the Olympic Park Playground. Having parking was helpful and the unit has everything you need. It is surrounded with all the shops and foodies! We will definitely be back! Thank you for the consistent communication!

Whistler Village Studio Condo
This studio is in a great place, right next to the Whistler market and above many different restaurants. The bathroom was a good size and kitchen was great too. I would highly recommend this unit.

Good value and all I need
My 3rd visit to this property. I appreciate that it is dog friendly, and it's a good value. Perhaps this is why there are no cancellations which hasn't bothered me, I only mention bc some people need a reminder to read the small print. The location is great, right at one end of the village, and parking is secure. I would return

Loved the space, great building. Pet friendly, good parking. Terrible check in and out procedure. Many guests struggling with key boxes. Building should address this issue, as guests are often leaving quickly and don't want to be delayed when checking out.

Super convenient location, Village is 2 minutes walk and restaurants, supermarket are just downstair
This is our fourth time to stay at this place. Ideal price and location make this suite the first choice on the list. Newly painted room and counter top make our stay even more pleasant. Host is very responsible and reliable. We would love to come back again.

Just short of 5 stars but very close!
Great location at one end of the village; makes it easy to do a village-wide stroll. Although a studio, it was roomy enough for two of us plus a dog, and we even had a mobility scooter with us too! For me, it makes no sense to pay more for an actual bedroom when in Whistler since you should be outside! As noted by others, this suite is a bit older and there's a little wear but most importantly, the shower/bath was very clean and the bed was wonderful (I only mention the wear bc some people care about this stuff; some bumps and bruises on the cupboards, furniture etc.) The balcony is directly above where the delivery trucks come for the grocery store, so there's a bit of noise (back up beeping etc.) early in the morning to be aware of. There's the grocery store, a liquor store across parking lot, super cheap and good coffee (non chain brand), and steps from good eats like purebread. The communication with the owners was very easy and they answered me swiftly. I recommend this suite and I would happily return.

Excellent value in a great location
My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was perfect for us. The apartment is in a great location - Right beside a grocery store, liquor store and lots of great restaurants and shops. Beautiful views of the mountains from the patio and it was so quiet despite being in the village. I thought the apartment looked even nicer in person than in the online photos. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was awesome to have for our last night when it was hot outside. Dave and Sarah were easy to communicate and very accommodating- they let us have a late check out, which we were so grateful for. Great value for the price. I would 100% stay here again!

Everything was as advertised. Nice and quiet with windows/patio facing away from the Village hubbub, but still super close walking to restaurants, bars, and everything else. About 800m brick walk to the lifts. Hot tub down the hall great after a long day of boarding/skiing. A couple tips: To read the lockbox numbers, older eyes may need reading glasses and/or flashlight. To get from the parking garage to the studio level, make sure you use the correct elevator across from the parking space, next to the bike room (don't use the service elevator that only goes up to the 2nd floor).

Property is located within a ten minute walk of both whistler and whistler blackcomb gondolas allowing you to start on either mountain. Located close to the village and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. This unit is a good size for two people. Only complaint was upon our arrival it appeared that the sheets had not been cleaned/changed. The host apologized for the inconvenience and had to the cleaning crew come and re-clean the next day. Not an ideal start to the trip, but was accommodated for the cleaning mishap.

I have poor vision and found the combination numbers on the lockbox very difficult to read .
Ideally located next to the grocery store and a short walk to drug store and restaurants. Never had to use the truck once it was parked in the designated spot. Also, the free transit to the Squamish Lil'wat cultural centre was appreciated.

Great location and very nice studio
The location of the property is really convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is very close to the Olympic Plaza. The lights are so beautiful. Kids enjoyed the ice skating and sledding a lot. Special thanks for the sled in the studio, kids used it every day and had a lot of fun! The kitchen is well stocked. We only used it once during our stay since there are so many great restaurants in the village. The appliances are a little bit dated but all function well. There is a super market on the back of the building. Again, the location is really the best, especially for families. Dave and Sarah responded messages very prompt. They send very detailed instructions before our trip, and made it very easy for checkin and checkout.

Perfect little condo right in the centre of everything.
Dave and Sarah's place was perfect. Such a cute little condo, located right in the centre of the village within walking distance to everything, AMAZING view of the mountains, very clean and they are so friendly and easy to communicate with, made the whole process very smooth. Great location in Whistler
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Whistler Hideaway. The location is perfect, close to everything, but far enough away so you can enjoy some quiet time if you desire. The parking spot is a real plus if you drive to Whistler like we did. The property is a little dated, and has some issues like the blinds being all messed up, but for the price and what it is, we were very satisfied. Would stay there again if we find ourselves back in Whistler.

Great Value for Labour Day Long Weekend
The Whistler Hideaway was extremely central! It was so convenient to be able to walk to all of the restaurants, shopping and bars in the village - we only used our vehicle to head up to Pemberton for one of our days. The place itself had all of the basics and suited the 4 of us well enough for our long weekend stay. A couple things of note: the advertised hot tub (shared by the building), was out of service for maintenance, which, although completely understandable, was a bit disappointing; also, the pull out couch was far from comfortable, but really what pull out couch is comfortable? The hosts, Dave and Sarah, were very communicative through the booking process and provided us with all of the information we needed to make checking in, parking and checking out a breeze. For a last minute-let's get out of the city for one of the busiest weekends of the summer - the Whistler Getaway was very budget friendly and the location was perfect.

Excellent location for Whistler, a quiet road but literally a 2 minute walk to the lively village
Dave and Sarah were really helpful, they were quick to reply to the original rental request and to the other questions I asked. The instructions to get to the apartment and key location were excellent and we'd definitely stop there again if we were ever in Whistler again.
