"Star Lake is an awesome place! We don’t want to tell anyone how nice it is because we want to keep it all to ourselves, a best kept secret. We saw numerous eagles, ducks, a muskrat, a rainbow and at least seven-nine fishing boats on the lake from time to time. Also we witness one ski boat and a brave skier on the lake as the water is still about 51 degrees May 24. The Star Lake hiking trail, a perfect hike, is about 2 miles long and wraps around the peninsula only 5 minutes from the Little Dipper cabin. The cabin is clean and accommodates four people comfortably. It has all the amenities you would want for your time away from the hustle and bustle."

"We had a wonderful time at the Maple cabin. Everything was perfect and this place is decorated amazingly. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. While on property we had the chance to meet Rob who is the property manager. He is a great guy, very helpful, professional and a class act. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. 10 out of 10 stars. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. Our families spent a great time together, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere by the lake in the forest. The place was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming here for 13 years and were nervous with new ownership. When we walked in it had been updated some with a few little touches to make our stay even more enjoyable. When we reached out due to some little items, they were very quick with a response. They even noticed the hot tub was not up to par upon cleaning prior and let us know that they did a deep clean on it before we arrived. We cannot wait for next year!"
