"We stayed here one night and found the renovated hotel comfortable and tidy. The front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. We found the room clean, the sheets fresh, the bathroom spotless, and the AC worked great on this 95 degree day. The beds were VERY comfortable. When we discovered a light bulb burned out of one of the lamps, the clerk immediately saw to it that it was replaced. There is no breakfast or elevator, which was fine for us since we just needed a safe, affordable place to sleep. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not all..the people upstairs sounds like they are in same room. Stone and concrete floors are hard on feet but keep the place cool. 90+ degree days it was a welcoming reprieve. I would definitely rent again when in area."

"We were a group of 4 women on a girl's trip and this was the perfect location. We were able to do arts & Crafts outside enjoying the sounds of nature. A Bald Eagle came and visited us a couple times a day. It was perfect size for the 4 of us. We enjoyed cooking dinner inside each night and doing a fire bowl and smores at night. The host. Anthony, is one of the best hosts Ive stayed with. Always a good quick line of communication and always very clean accommodations. We would definitely stay again."
