"My stay at Cliffhanger was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The property was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and even better than I expected. The views were breathtaking, and the entire atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and truly enjoy my time away. Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. I especially loved how private and relaxing the property felt—it truly gave that home-away-from-home feeling while still making the stay feel special and luxurious. The hospitality was excellent, and I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my entire stay. Cliffhanger definitely left a lasting impression on me, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable getaway. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 experience! "Everyone is so welcoming here . Jay was above and beyond providing great communication with all the information needed to prepare for the stay, and his mom Angela is very warm and kind and cooks amazing meals, I loved all the fresh whole foods and juices . The location is a perfect base for doing the Blue Mountain peak hike. There is also a river that you can hike to and swim in. They also grow and sell their own coffee! The guesthouse is only reachable by 4wd, if you don’t have that they can arrange a ride/ pick you up . I was able to take my rental sedan as close as Hagley gap but coming from Portland there were parts of the mountain roads that were pretty sketchy, having to ford a river and go up a pretty steep hill. It might not be passable if it’s been raining. Also Google Maps directions had some errors. Driving to/from Kingston the roads are much better."

"I was doing writing and also needing to rest, this was a lovely stay and I enjoyed it so much I got my colleague to book it as well. There are no nearby shops to buy food so you have to come prepared, other than that it is a good remote stop."
