"The hotel is conveniently located near many businesses and restaurants, with easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the photos on Hotels.com for SureStay Plus in Sevierville were somewhat misleading. The property is older, and several aspects didn’t match the images. There was rust above the bathroom door, the mattress sagged in the middle, and there was an unusual smell throughout the hallway. While it was acceptable for a short stay, the hotel would benefit from a thorough update."

"Unfortunately the room didn’t have soap and wasn’t very clean. Upon our departure we discovered a large sum of cash missing from our safe in the room. Understandably the hotel cannot accuse a worker, although the did check the card swipes and cameras which found only one person entered besides us. I was just shocked the hotel didn’t offer anything, not a discount or a credit for upcoming stay, nothing. Will be the last time I stay there. "
