"The property was great for our family of 8! We were able to entertain ourselves with all of the options for water activities and rest! The kitchen was amazing, and the house was stocked well. The rooms were all comfortable and I really enjoyed the massage chair!! I would highly recommend!"

"The location was perfect—just across the street from the lake and very close to a small park with a dock and boat launch. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. The property had everything we could have asked for during our quick getaway. Deena was wonderful to communicate with and was always quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing getaway!"

"This was our second stay at the Johnson Family Farm and it was once again fantastic. It’s a beautiful home, with an amazing view. The hosts are fantastic. You will love your stay here!"
Lakefront Cottage Near Crystal Mountain & Rainier

"Very nice place, but the pictures did not clarify that there is only one tiny spiral staircase to the bedrooms. We had to use the outside stairs to the deck with suitcases, and that staircase is very rickety. No good mirror in upper bathroom, and limited plugins for things like curling irons and hair dryers. Beds were comfortable! Upstairs TV didn't work at all... that was disappointing. We cleaned the tops of the outdoor tables when we arrived as they were pretty grimy. Otherwise, it really is a lovely spot!"

"We had an amazing July 4th week with our family and friends. It was a beautiful location on the lake and a beautiful yard. We chose Lake Tapps as its only 10 mins away from our family that we were visiting. The dock could use some maintenance as many boards were loose and several people were hurt just walking. There was a little confusion on check in as I guess we booked the lower level of the house. (It wasn't an issue I just didn't remember reading that.) The following day another family checked in upstairs and were very loud at all hours of the night. My kids were trying to sleep and we ended up having to move them as I guess whatever was above their room that's where they hung out. These guests were also shooting off fireworks the day after the 4th and throwing things into the lake and left the dock a mess. We felt like if we didn't clean it up we'd be charged. So we cleaned up the mess and took all of the trash up to the cans. (Maybe get some extra cans for the downstairs unit.) We were also fighting for a spot in the drive way. (With the host she was moving things in and out of her car and the other group up stairs)We had small kids with us and the driveway would have been nice to load the kids into car seats. It also would have been nice to have water toys and life vests for guests. We felt so wasteful buying and then having to donate since we flew in and couldn't take with us. The kitchen could use some more dishes to cook with and mix. The bunk bed is VERY wobbly."

"We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. The house was our base camp as we prepared for our daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. The host Elizabeth was wonderful and I will say the best host we have ever had through VRBO. Her communication was always quick and her flexibility helped elevate our stay. Because the property is a farm and extension of her art studio we had the chance to meet in passing. She made herself available to show the kids staying with us her art studio along with a tour of the abundant garden next to the driveway. The artwork displayed within the house was a treat.The property provides amazing views of Mt Rainier along with the surrounding countryside. What a pleasure to sit on the deck at night and not hear a thing other than surrounding nature. The house had everything that we could have needed. The kitchen was missing nothing. In fact, a relative who is a baker created the most beautiful wedding cake in the kitchen. The bedrooms were perfect for all of the guests who stayed overnight. We were allowed to host a small rehearsal dinner with additional people, there was plenty of room for all to move about as the bride and grooms family got to know each other better. Our stay at this property made an already special weekend that much better. We are forever grateful for our family time here."
