"Great place"

"The beach view was excellent. Did realize it was so close to the beach which was great. Nice boardwalk for walkers bikers etc. The room was great. Did have to do a little driving to eat somewhere but found a good place or two. "

"This place is a great place to stay with family. Our family of 10 had a great time. The only trouble was the wifi wasn't working. We contacted the managing company who had someone come out and take a look. It didn't really fix the problem, but we enjoyed the ocean so didn't feel like contacting them again. I would like it if they put some hot pads in the kitchen, but everything else is great. Short walk to the ocean was awesome. The heated pool was a great bonus"

"The condo smelled a bit musty, like mold and strong cleaning chemicals. There were more stairs than I anticipated, 3 flights. The shared outdoor patio was completely monopolized by the neighbors’ smoking lounge (they were not friendly) and there were no chairs for this unit. I did not get check in instructions until almost 9 pm. The unit was dated with soft spots in the floor, doors that didn’t close right, knob missing from the pantry door, the bath tub fixture not attached to wall, rust in the dishwasher, rust on the dryer lint trap, broken window, to name a few. The good things: location was very close to the beach and walking distance to 2 bars. The decor was very attractive. Everything worked; the kitchen appliances, the A/C (no cooler than 72*per the house rules), the hot water, and the laundry machines. We did not see any bugs at all! The master bed was comfortable. The pool was decent. There was no hot tub (which I saw listed in amenities). Overall it was just ok, we would have been happier if not for the off putting smell. "

"Great stay on Padre Island - convenient location to perfect beach. Comfortable beds and living room furniture! Two full bathrooms made life easy! Safe and secure building, quiet area. Great restaurants nearby. Appreciate the excellent communication from the owners!"
