There was a minor issue with the heating system, and he was patient and helped me fix it quickly, never making me feel like I was pestering him. The space was perfect for my 3 night stay as a jumping off point for further excursions, as well as easy meals and explorations in town. The location couldn't be better. It was peaceful even though it's in the heart of town. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and the whole vacation was easy and breezy...just what I wanted and needed. I highly recommend David's cozy cottage and would love to stay again. "

The location is perfect with coffee shops, stores, and bars only a few minutes walk away, and it was a quick drive to Hudson, Olana, and beautiful hiking. "We just spent a week at this very comfortable and convenient house in Catskill. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and once we came to grips with the remote, the television and wifi were fine. We appreciated unscented laundry soap for the washer. Both of us caught colds while there, and were pleased to be able to order a grocery delivery from Price Chopper. Catskill itself is a charming village. The house is a basic bungalow, but there are some stunning Victorians to ogle in the neighborhood. The Beattie-Powers historic house is within easy walking distance, with splendid views over the river."
