In the country but not far from town-less than 5 miles fromTyler - the Rose capital of Texas. Cottage is decorated with antiques and family treasures. Sweet place

Small and unique. Quite peaceful and private. If you're looking for "seclusion" this isn't your place but no body bothers you. Close to everything. Cottage is well prepared and very enjoyable. Great for a relaxing getaway which is exactly what we got. Worth the stay!

Very nice, relaxing stay in east Texas woods. Awesome cottage for two! Nice location, really loved the jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit! We will visit again soon! Thanks for the stay!

Quiet, peaceful retreat

We had a nice little getaway! The cottage was well stocked and nice and cozy! It was a rainy cold weekend, but was perfect snuggled up inside! Highly recommend!

Perfect for our Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We came to town to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and this cottage was perfect! Such a sweet, peaceful, & well thought out place! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the hot tub. It’s secluded, but close enough to Tyler where we enjoyed a nice dinner. Will be back in the future hopefully!

Charming

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for as a little getaway for our 5 year anniversary. The location was great—just a few minutes from town, but nestled in the beautiful countryside of Texas. Charming, tidy, relaxing. We highly recommend it, and would love to stay again sometime.

Exactly as promised…and more!

I feel like so often the descriptions for things are misleading! People use language to describe things in a better light than they actually are. This was NOT the case with this stay. Everything was delightful, above and beyond. Things were beautiful, clean, and intentional. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were super accommodating. If my husband and I ever get a night or two away from our kids again, we will surely be back!

Perfect getaway

Perfect getaway. The fire pit, hot tub, and little cottage made for a romantic weekend. Just 30 mins away from the state park was also nice for kayaking and short hikes. The house was very clean and so cozy! The hosts were near but never intruded and made us feel like we were alone in the woods. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and Peaceful

It was a wonderful stay! The Cottage has such nice touches and finishes. They think of everything you could need. I ordered a flower arrangement, fire side s'more's, fresh fruits and pastries. All of it was phenomenal. The owner is very kind and accessible. The outside hot tub was so relaxing and the fire pit was so enjoyable. I recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a peaceful getaway.

Lovely place. Bigger than it appears from outside. About the size of a king suite at a hotel. Very private setting. Comfortable. Proximity to Boulders on Lake Tyler, about five minutes. Would stay again.

Girls trip

My 10 yr old daughter and me took at a trip to Tyler to see the roses. She has 5 brothers and needed some girl only time. We had a wonderful stay! Our host was accommodating and easy to communicate with while respecting our privacy. The tiny house was adorable and really perfect! Thank you!

The cottage was absolutely perfect! The location was just far enough to feel secluded in the best way, but close enough to town that you could go shopping or viait a restaurant. The inside of the cottage was done so that it felt very thought out and made us feel at home. It has many little touches that were just right. You can tell the owners spent a lot of time making sure that they thought of everything. The hot tub was just off the side door on a porch that was just what we needed. I sat on the front porch twice having a drink and reading. I cant wait to visit again!

Quiet and relaxing

My friend and I decided to book our stay because of the proximity to Tyler State Park. Unfortunately a storm was passing through so we didn't get to visit the state park but we did go out into the town anyways. We came back and enjoyed the rest of the night in the cottage. They had plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances it was clean and comfy. We didn't have any issues. You are in the countryside so signal wasn't too strong. It's in a quiet tucked away neighborhood. If you come in at night be careful you may miss the turn but the instructions are good enough to get you there you just have to drive slow so you don't miss it. It is a small but humble adobe. Because of the rain we also didn't get to use the hot tub but it was working.

Cute and quiet

My daughter and I enjoyed a short stay in this cabin. The pictures and listing are accurate, though I was surprised the cabin is on the dirt road in front of the host's house. In my head I thought it was further tucked away, but the dirt road isn't busy at all and the most noise we heard was from the neighbor down the road's goats and kids. Overall it's a quiet and relaxing spot. We enjoyed the firepit and some smores. The hosts were kind and friendly when I contacted them through messages in the VRBO app and by phone. Other than seeing their car drive by we didn't see them. I imagine they would meet you if that's your preference. The info book did say you're welcome to join them if you see them having a bonfire. It also mentioned a little construction on other future cabins, but I didn't hear any noise from it during our stay. Like I said, nice and quiet place to stay.

Cozy and simple

Sweet and simple place. Nearby everything but still secluded away. Would definitely be more private when leaves and foliage is back; not that it wasn’t. Very nice home and the property puppy was very sweet

Peaceful Concert Retreat

My BFF and I loved the serenity of this little cottage. It is very well done with a lot of heart put into it. We were in town to see CeCe Winans in Concert at Green Acres and the location was perfect. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Perfect! Quiet & Secluded
