We had a slight problem with the heating on the Saturday evening and Fiona and her husband came round right away and fixed it in a few minutes. The flat is very central to all the bars and restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach."

En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. "Apartment was comfortable. The alet and stairs up to it were awful and could have been improved with a clean or a paint. Beds were comfortable. Just needed some general upkeep done on it, skirtings cleaned and painted, hole in bathroom wall filled. Everything you needed for a weekend away but not done to my standard."

"This property was very clean. I love having white bedding / towels because you can see that they are clean! There were nice touches - a pint of milk in the fridge, a selection of biscuits. The decor is tasteful and attractive."

"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"We loved our stay at the Wee Silverburn! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Decorated so nicely, very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking wares and cleaning supplies. The babbling brook just beyond the lush garden plantings completed the lovely setting. The location is wonderful, an easy walk down the beach and other offerings at Whiting Bay. The bus stop is right there too if you want to pop to a pub or two in Lamlash for dinner and drinks....

"Lodge had everything we needed for perfect stay, great views. Managed to see the red squirrel & the Highland cows at the bottom of the drive. Kris was great, allowed us to check in earlier as we got an early boat. Everything spotless & tidy. Recommend to everyone if you need a place to stay"
