Vacasa and its reps are the worst
The property was priceless and the owner is a gentleman, a real good man. His home was wonderful, breathtaking and surreal in beauty. Our stay couldnt have been better. Until we ran out of propane. The house has electric hvac, but the stove, waterheater and fireplace were all gas so the last 24 hrs were rough for our family.
We contacted vacasa and they immediately gave me a hard time. They stated that hot water and propane werent listed as part of the rental. They actually said this. For half the day they argued with me about how showers, heating and the ability to cook any food werent part of the agreement. Thabkfully they finally got the owner on the phone.
He reassured us the hvac was electric and we werent going to freeze that night. As well he offered his home across the way for showers and to use the stove there for food If we needed to. Ultimately he agreed tonrefund a nights stay for the inconvenience.
The property managers however would not honor the refund for a full nights stay, and have ignored me for the last week.
This company is the absolute worst, dishonest and rude.
Its too bad because the peoperty and its owner were amazing. 10 stars for them.
Im hereby starting a new rating system for aweful (offal) called the bucket system. 10 buckets for vacasa.
