We came into town for a wedding and our stay was an easy one! The check in process was smooth and the house had everything we needed. We were also walking distance to coffee shops and some restaurants. Would stay here again!
Came to town to visit family and had a pleasant stay in this older home, it has lots of cool antique touches. It's in a central location that made getting around town easy.
We enjoyed the home and the location very much. There was a grocery store a block away and coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable and there is a nice dining and living area. We will definitely stay here again.
The house is in a nice neighborhood, close to the grocery store and liquor store. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Wichita.
After having some initial minor maintenance issues we were relocated to another VRBO by the same company. The owners made contact and provided updates. Excellent communication and both properties were very clean. updates
My brother and his daughter were visiting from Germany. They really enjoyed their stay at your property. The property matched the pics online. The area was good. The property met their needs.
The only complaint is that my niece said she heard scratching on the walls in the master bedroom most nights and thought the room was haunted. Other than that, it was a great experience.
The house is old, which is expected for that part of the town. My kids are scared lol So they had to sleep with my husband and I. It was a good location to historical area. The Belmont was fantastic for dinner and there's a cute little coffee shop next-door from The Belmont witch was great for breakfast. There's no creeping around that house though lol The floors creek pretty bad
I had an unexpected family medical emergency which gave me short notice. The house was in a perfect location to allow me to spend as much time as possible at the hospital.
The house was equipped with all the basic needs. Coffee and laundry facilities being the most critical to me! I wish I had time to have used the little weigh room which was a nice amenity.
The best, most overlooked part was communication with the landlords. Prompt, frequent, and helpful.
I hope I don’t have to stay again, but if I do this was a good home base.
We had a lovely weekend staying at this property. We have a large dog who travels with my family, and we all quite comfortable. We loved the lovation and quiet neighborhood. Can definitely recommend the stay!
The home has been updated and Esthetically pleasing. This would have been a grande home back in the day. The floors are very creaky and a little soft in the kitchen. Overall it was a good stay and a short, inexpensive uber ride away from the festivities. Convenient grocery store across the street and restaurants in the walkable area. Hosts were very accomodating for check in and check out.
The stairs are very steep, it’s obviously very historical and they have them as the original stairs but we had to carry our dogs up and down the stairs each time and we ended up having our parents sleep on an air mattress on the first floor. There is a bedroom downstairs just no bed, adding a bed on the first floor would make things perfect. I hate to put anything negative on here but I feel like people need to take this into account when renting.
We appreciated the location and the comfort of the beds and living area. Previous reviews indicated the floors creak, they weren’t exaggerating but it is a very old home. The beds were comfortable and it was clean but pointers you need to know. Stairs are narrow and if you have trouble with stairs I would say not the place for you. All the sleeping areas are upstairs which is unfortunate because there is one bath and the upstairs is warmer than the rest of the house. Could be a problem in heat of summer. There is another 3/4 bath downstairs off another room that should be a Bedroom but it’s a weight room instead. There were many areas in the floor that were uneven and there were times I felt like if I wasn’t paying attention I might have tripped. Parking works for 2 cars, one on street the other in the shared drive. Front porch was nice touch with swing. Only other issue we found was Internet was not working so we were unable to see anything on TV like even the weather or news. We tried everything to get it working but no luck. It was also mentioned there was a remote for the garage in the coffee table but we couldn’t find that either. Overall, it was fine I would say just not for elderly couples or someone with gait issues. Good location!!
Beautiful home in historic neighborhood. Conveniently located across the street from grocery store. Comfortable beds with nice dining area and space in kitchen to prepare what we needed for family Christmas dinner. Our pups were very comfortable and communication with the host was awesome. Be aware that as it is a very old home, the floors are quite creaky and the stairs are fairly narrow and steep. If you have members in your party with mobility issues, it may be challenging as there are no bedrooms on the ground floor.

Perfect for us bu probably not for everyone.
Floors are creaky and staircase requires your full attention. But it had everything we needed and is right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Wichita.
We’d stay there again but staircase might be an issue for those with small children or mobility issues.
