We checked-in right at the earliest time and the front desk staff was nice, but that was the end of the "nice" experience. I have a laundry list of issues, in terms of management of the hotel and the condition, but I am allowed so many characters so I will make it a list: one of the doors to the room could not be opened from the outside, closet door off tracks, one toilet would not flush, one faucet sounded like a freight train, no clean linens for the pull-out sofa (they could provide any when asked), staff allow huge food mess to linger in the hallway, breakfast was poorly executed, the warmers on the buffet didn't seem to be functioning, extension cord running around the breakfast area and being tripped on, guests were allowed to loudly run through halls well into the early hours of the morning, overall condition of the outside of the hotel is rough, piles of old mulch in back parking lot, rainwater leaking around the exterior doors, security doors didn't seem to be functioning at all (they were never locked at anytime we came in or out). Overall the hotel just seems like it is run down and needs renovation. Not at all what I have experienced with other Ramada hotels in the past.
This was perhaps the worst experience we have had with a hotel; especially one that belongs to a national chain! I had half a mind to checkout and get a refund and go next door to the no-name hotel that looked a lot cleaned and cared for.
