The room was a smoking room, BUT nowhere in the advert was smoking mentioned. My travel companion is allergic to smoke. We tried to get moved to another room. Other rooms were available but the management would not move us because we registered through Expedia. Expedia said they could not help that I had to contact the property management.
The other room available did cost more which I offered to pay, but still they would not move us.
Second issue, there was a security deposit charged when we checked in. I prepaid for the whole stay, and nowhere was a security deposit discussed. A week after the stay and I still do not have my security deposit back.
I know we didn't damage the room as we slept in our car the first night, then went to another hotel the 2nd night.
