Room smelled like cigarettes and bathroom smelled like sewage from the first moment we walked in till we left. Had several others from my group comment the same about their rooms.

The room was a smoking room, BUT nowhere in the advert was smoking mentioned. My travel companion is allergic to smoke. We tried to get moved to another room. Other rooms were available but the management would not move us because we registered through Expedia. Expedia said they could not help that I had to contact the property management. The other room available did cost more which I offered to pay, but still they would not move us. Second issue, there was a security deposit charged when we checked in. I prepaid for the whole stay, and nowhere was a security deposit discussed. A week after the stay and I still do not have my security deposit back. I know we didn't damage the room as we slept in our car the first night, then went to another hotel the 2nd night.

Convenient location. Room was clean. Staff and amenities were OK for the price. Hallway and room smelled a little like cigarette smoke - guessing the carpet needs to be redone.

The room was comfy. Plenty of space. There were hairs on the shower curtain - ick! The television/ cable box had issued all evening. The front desk man came up once. The box had to be reset about every 45 minutes. Breakfast was 👍.

My husband’s bag had been inspected by who we assume was the housekeeping staff two days in a row, but luckily we don’t leave valuables in our room. The faucet in the tub had a constant leak. The remainder of the staff was friendly. The cost was quite reasonable.

Disappointing service
This is a nice, clean place except for the stinky hallway. We think we may have been placed near the smoking rooms??? We had requested a room on the lower floor and facing the parking lot. He had those available but would only consider giving us one for extra $20. So he gave us - 2 retired folks - the exact opposite of our request: upstairs, back of the building. There is no elevator. Very disappointing service.

The motel smelled like smoke. The walls in the room were yellow from smoke. They shut the air conditioning off in the room and it was summer time in Kansas. It was dam hot in room. Got air conditioning turned on and it didn't cool off till morning. Didn't sleep at all. Manager would not do nothing about it except say give air conditioner time to cool the room off. Would recommend no on to stay in this place. Worse motel I ever stayed at

Very convenient to 81 Speedway. Nice flooring, not carpet. The pillows were too light. Mold (or some other grunge) around the tub. Sink cracked, but still usable. AC could barely cool the room. The room, other than the floor, could use an upgrade. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
