Cozy waterfront cabin on 20 acres

1200 SF warm and cozy cabin built from timber right off of the property. The house sits on 20 acres of land with nearly 1 mile of beautiful, wide trails, 4 acres of pasture and 550 feet of frontage on Red Creek.
Upon entering the house you will immediately feel the warmth of the very large living room, leather sofa and love seat set against the rich, all wood structure and wood beams.
There is a double bed loft upstairs with a half bath, a bedroom with a double bed on the first floor and a full bath and a twin bed with a full bathroom also on the 1st floor.
Relax on the front porch, build a camp fire in the back, watch for wildlife, ride 4-wheelers, walk the trails and enjoy the park like atmosphere. Hike the wooded areas, enjoy the sugar white sandy banks of the creek and get some sun while the kids swim in Red Creek. Take the 10 minute ride to Flint Creek Reservoir and swim in the sandy bottom lake or take the kids to the water park. So much to do during both the summer and winter!

Great Place!

My son and a couple of teammates had summer ball spring training at a local community college. George's place was clean and comfy. The boys especially loved exploring and swimming in the creek. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun time and a break from bland hotels. Communication with George was a breeze and enjoyable. Couldn't be happier with our experience.

Family getaway before school starts

Kids had fun - nice comfy beds - full kitchen - fished and played at creek. Plenty of stores etc in town - we’ll be back!

Secluded cabin in the woods

Second time staying in this cute spacious cabin. Has everything you need and more. Sandy beach next to creek short walk from the cabin. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely amazing

George is absolutely amazing. The property and the cabin is amazing just what we needed. Five starts doesn't do it any justice needs to be higher. If your looking to get away and back into nature this is the place for you. If you're going to worry about phone service its not for you. Will be renting this back out soon.

Spring breaking!!

Another great trip to the cabin and the creek. We rode the trails and had a bonfire every night. The water was still a little cold to get into, but we still enjoyed the sandbar. I'm sure we will be back this summer. Always our go-to for a staycation!!

Fabulous Red Creek House

Home is super clean and well taken care of. Creek is beautiful, but can be tricky to access for some—my husband and i had no problem and enjoyed every second of our stay. Convenient to Wiggins Walmart(5-7 minute drive from house)!

Relaxing stay.

Great place if you want to unplug and spend quality time with family. We enjoyed the walking trails, the creek, and making s’mores on the fire pit. I know some people might want the internet but to me this is the reason you come here. To remember how to interact with the world around you and each other. The kids and I played board games and cards at night. Walked the trails and enjoyed the creek in the day. Very peaceful. Would recommend.

Great time as always!

Me and my family stayed here after the 4th. It was exactly what we expected. The new AC on the cabin was great. The water was high, but went down quickly after the first day. Nice and cold to beat the July heat. George is always easy to communicate with and this place remains our #1 go to for a quick staycation!!

Black Creek

Large sandbars and bass were available in the creek. We threw them back so they could grow a little. It has a very bright security light which is great if you are not looking for a meteor shower. It has wide trails for a hike in the piney woods. We loved it and recommend the peace and quiet of country living.

Worst vacation i ever

I took my grandkids to a place i thought was going to have a nice place for them to swim and enjoy . We couldnt get to the creek. We didnt stay but one night there. I wouuld like a refund .

Nice Place, Needs work

The location is awesome and the home could be special, however, there many issues that are hard to overlook. For example, there was very little water pressure. Because of this only 1 shower could be used and this shower leaked all over the floor. There was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Some of the plugs didn't work and other didn't have covers on them. There is a TV, but only has stations that a small antennae make available. The listing doesn't state it has internet, but there is literally no cell coverage either. Not the owners fault, but something that needs to be known if you have to work while your there.

Great get away cabin

Cabin was clean and ready for use upon arrival. It was really dark when we pulled in and a/c was off, but give it an hour with the a/c on and it was very comfortable the rest of the stay.Highly recommend this cabin. There are plenty of places to explore on the property itself too. Short walk to the creek as well. Beds were comfortable, which is rare at most places.

There was no wifi and with a sick daughter that was not good especially being so far out. Half the stove did not work. The water was luke warm never really got hot. It was very peaceful the beds were comfortable.
