"Girls trip and your cabin perfectly fit our adventure. Absolutely every single kind of kitchen pan, utensil, dish, etc. that you could ever need! Beds are super comfortable. Even futons were OK. Nothing can beat the amazing view right off the deck. Large deck, large fire pit area, peace, serenity, nature at its best! Thank you for your instant communication throughout our stay. "Small cabin with beautiful backyard and surroundings, very quiet neighborhood, one of our most peaceful stays, biking trails right from the door, and the river is right there too, liked all the Amish businesses. Will make this cabin a annual trip."

"Really amazing location on what is effectively a lake because of the dam a couple miles down river. We arrived on a Monday and didn't see another person on the water the whole day, though Tuesday and Wednesday saw a little boat traffic. The paddle boat was defunct as far as we could tell, but there were two kayaks, which we prefer. The hot tub is nice, with a string of lights to plug in in the evening and a great view of the lake. We enjoyed Mio and made use of the Hinchman Acres boat rental to take an 11 mile trip (the shortest they offer!) down the Au Sable, but we enjoyed our time paddling around the "pond" just as much."

"Would not recommend staying here in the summer. I knew there was no air conditioning in the listing but thought being on the lake, at night, with the windows open, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is, the bedroom windows were sealed shut, and it was 78-80 degrees in the house even with the patio doors open. I politely asked the owners if they could turn the air on (there are units) and the reply was a sarcastic response about how I didn't read the listing. Speaking of the listing, the photos are deceptive. The lake looks more like a swamp right now, and the photos conveniently left out all the deer and antlers on the walls. Also, 4 towels for three people for four nights was inconvenient. The listing says one of the bedrooms had two queens, which isn't the case.Over all, good price but didn't know we'd be sweltering all night without the windows opening."
