"We didn’t expect too much from the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, right next to the beach. Overall, it was a great stay and we would happily stay here again."

"Right on the beach. Short walk on the boardwalk to the community park where there is a playground if you have kids. Beautiful view of the ocean. Our suite was more like an apartment, it had everything we could need."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Tides Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was large and our family lived the complimentary access to the mini golf next door. We were a quick step to the ocean and loved the communal firepit and bbq. We will definitely stay at the Tides again!"

"1st time visitors but it won't be our last time. From check in to check out the staff were friendly and help full. The food and view are fantastic from both the dining room and the patio looking out over the Parksville waterfront. The room was on the smaller side but extremely clean and well-maintained. The deck was perfect to have a drink and look out over the water. They had both an outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool and hot tub. Very family friendly."

"The staff made the whole experience different. We had no idea what to do but the staff gave quite a bit of good advice. The unit itself was a bit tricky as the paintings were all gone for some reason, but have easy access to outdoor pool, beach, etc. We wish they didn’t run out of coffee mate or had the restaurant open. A lot of indoor/ outdoor activities were available to check out. Highly recommended for family with kids"

"Kim was an amazing host. Communication was so easy from booking right through to check out. The unit was so clean and had literally everything you need and the view was breathtaking. It was a breeze to find things and Kim left such detailed instructions. The amenities were easily accessed. We were able to swim, play basketball, and rent kayaks. The resort is a short drive away from restaurants, cafes, beaches and other sights. Definitely highly recommended!"
