"This newly built property presented precisely as it was listed on the site. Clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding area, it was within close proximity of the major sites (Oberammergau, Garmisch, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Ettal Abbey, etc.) The owner, who speaks English well, communicated quickly in response to our initial inquiry as well as subsequent questions we had. "Pros: We had a wonderful time in Oberammergau, enjoying walking locally in the December snow. Tried out local cafes for all the fabulous cakes and hot chocolate. Lidl is in walking distance for all the supplies you might need if you want to cook. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the utensils you might need. Beds are comfy and the hot water plentiful and hot. WiFi good. The host was delightful. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this...

"I really enjoyed my stay - very nice room (and not too small), excellent breakfast, and quiet. The only thing to note is that the parking on site easily fills and you may need to park in a nearby parking lot, about a 5 minute walk (they might have valet parking - I did not ask - we arrived late and there was only one person at the front desk."

"We stayed in this hotel 30+ years ago and it's well maintained today. Its location is excellent to visits the castles and to enjoy the lake. Hotel has limited parking lots, but they have parking space in public parking area which is about five minutes walking. Not a problem for us at all."

"Loved the property - staff not so much. Reception staff was friendly then disappeared. Even though there was a bell to ring - no one showed up. This was a Tuesday evening around 8 pm. We waited and waited and other people waited and just grabbed a key to check in. The restaurant on cute great food but again the waiter was not fruendly"

"Fantastic stay, amazing location which is less than a minute walk to a lake. The lake was really quiet and perfect for going in to swim or walking around. Bed was really comfortable. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast had lots of variety. Spa was great to finish the day off and had lots of different sauna rooms. Would 100% return."
