"If you are one of the people that expects a hotel to feed you, then this hotel will disappoint you...the accommodations matter most to me and so I will say that overall they're sufficient for a clean and comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price and they are also near the freeway and food. The layout is odd because the sinks are outside of the shower/tub area (which then congests that space), but you then have the benefit of people can get ready at sinks while someone showers. The pillows are comfortable but the beds are firm, so if you need a softer mattress this place isn't for you. The walls aren't that thick so you will be mad if you are noise sensitive (I could hear the man snoring in the hotel room next to us). Both times we stayed here the room had a slight odor (most likely from the carpet) but it wasn't overpowering. This is definitely one of those places for the "we aren't in the room much" type of travelers but you don't want to stay at a dump hotel either. It was respectable for the price."

"If I could give more stars, I would! This is a fantastic hotel near the riverwalk. Very clean, great breakfast included. Bar and restaurant were great. It was a nice treat to not have to drive any where once we were settled. Great outdoor area. Rooms were up to date. Hotel staff was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. They need more business to stay open. I wish them the best!"

"Breakfast was great pool was fun rooms were clean. They did have medal bed frames not normal beds so the mattress moved a little for a short stay not bad but if I were to stay longer it’d probably get annoying "

"Very attentive staff. We had trouble with neighbors loud at 3:30 am & that got handled quickly by security once we called, then the next morning they gave us a new room. Good location. Comfortable rooms. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Salem!"

"Not much to choose from ,like hot breakfast"

"The property was run down, but they were clearly in the process of renovating. There were signs stating that there would be construction noise 8am-6pm. Not a problem. The room was clean, and decently appointed. The lighting is mismatched and some bulbs are bright white and hard on the eyes. Empty tissue box, but whatever. The issue is that the elevator has a sign saying do not go to the 4th floor because it’s under construction. My room was on the 3rd floor. I’m not sure why it was so critical for the room directly above me to have work done in the middle of the night! I’m talking power tools after midnight!! And when I told the front desk, she said she would “definitely be talking to them” about it!! There was a lot of movement on my floor and I was not comfortable leaving my room. Turns out that this hotel is not in the best spot. It’s set way back and the parking lot is dimly lit and a little creepy. Anyway, the people who work there are actually very nice, so it’s not like I was mistreated or anything, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of people staying there, so maybe don’t use power tools in the middle of the night above one of the few occupied rooms!!!!!!!"
