"Great place to stay overnight on our way up to Karamea, especially as we were able to take our two dogs.Rustic cabin with cosy feel.Wonderful welcoming hosts, Kath and Dan, Dan being an amazing craftsman which showed in the work these two have done around the property. If you have time, ask Dan to show you his work shed and projects.....amazing enthusiasm.Thanks guys."

"If you are seeking a great location and experience this has it all. The staff are gracious, friendly and very helpful. The room is well setup with a great sitting area, very comfortable bed and a great washroom that has a heated floor and towel rack. All restaurants are very close. As your in the rainforest they also provide umbrellas for your use, which came in very handy and needed. Highly recommend a stay here."

"Beautiful unit and very private and peaceful. We loved it however it states that it is a short walk to everything. Not so, we were at the back of the park which was a long walk to even get out to the street."

"Very beautiful views outside. It was nice to stay in small individual houses and not worry about noise from next door or above. The staff were very kind and helped as needed. We were able to use the kitchen to make multiple meals. Individual car park is right next to the unit which makes unloading and loading very convenient. Offsite parking for additional cars."

"Lovely quiet cottage in amongst the flaxes (and great bird life!) Spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking at home and a great shower. Will definitely stay here again when we next visit Okarito."
