"We had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Franz Joseph Oasis. Everything from our check in when we arrived to cleanliness of the room and staff responsiveness to our every question was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk is wonderful and took care of us with a smile. A must consider hotel if you are visiting Franz Joseph."

"Clean room and great location, right next to groceries store and restaurants and adventure activities shops. They also have a big common kitchen where you can store and cook your own food. We booked a family private room but basically it's a hostel"

"The room was perfect. Everything was clean with eco friendly products. Well stocked kitchen,with everything you need. Comfortable furniture and bed. Plus a view of the snow peaks mountains that you can’t beat. Hostess was wonderful :)"

"Room was tight but comfortable. We came in late after an all-day excursion. They gave us to muffins and a delicious lentil veggie stew, which was all we needed before turning in. The clean, busy dining area and kitchen were well equipped with a great coffee machine that made delicios hot java!"

"Lovely host, made us feel very welcome & at home. Cottage very clean & tidy, lots of lovely touches, flannel sheets, hot water bottles. So appreciated. Enjoyed the 195O’s retro furnishings, old records & player. Kitchen had a great selection of condiments, Enjoyed starting our day sitting outside in the sun with a plunger coffee & watching the Weka. Thanks so much for a great stay. will be back in Summer. "
