The cabin was roomy, and clean, and the neighborhood was very quiet. I really appreciated the lighting in the bathroom. I could actually see to put on my make-up! Becky was very accommodating, and answered all my questions very quickly.

Not worth the risk
I have always had a good experience using VRBO, however this place was the exception. We booked a two night stay to enjoy the town with our kids. The day after our first night, we had came back from our activities and as soon as we got out of our vehicle we noticed a particular smell. I immediately contacted the owner who then stated she would contact the gas company, wasn’t given an eta. In a panic, because I had my two children there, we noticed there was a group of firefighters across the street so my husband walked over to ask if there was anything gas related going on. They then walked over and indeed also agreed with us that there was a particular gas like smell. They talked to the owner over the phone as well and informed her of this. I no longer felt safe staying there because we were not given an eta for gas company. I had to scurry booking an even more expensive place to stay but at least I knew my kids would be safe. The owner’s way of resolving this was giving me a third of the total we paid to book, something totally out of our control. She stated that the smell was due to the fireworks, which I believe is completely false, as the smell was there prior to the fireworks had started. I do not think it is fair resolution since it is her place and she is to provide a place that is safe. I would not stay here and don’t recommend for families.
