There is also a River Walk close by to access as well. We do have long term guests here. I apologize if this affected your stay. We are sorry your stay was less than expected. Maintenance was directed as to the issue with the smoke detector not being functioning and properly placed. They have also been made aware of concerns with exterior cleanliness. We do have everything available for guests at the front desk or amenities can be brought to your room, as Housekeeping service was not offered during your 3 night stay.We have recently updated flooring and bedding in most guestrooms, but our main buildings exterior has not been updated. We are planning on furnishings being updated in 2024. I hope you have the chance to enjoy them with us on any future visits.

Our records indicated you were checked into a Non Smoking King room with 1 bed, I am unsure where this changed.We do have long term stays that local companies are helping find residence. Unfortunately, you were booked into a Smoking Room, hence the smoke odor. As we spoke of on the phone, your room was inspected by me personally and there were not bed bugs. Your concerns have been directed to Maintenance and Housekeeping, as for room condition. The smoke odor most likely came from the shared room on the opposite side of the walkway. Feel free to request out of the smoking area completely for any future stays. We also have an ozonator that can be ran previous to your arrival. Guest satisfaction is our top priority and I apologize that we failed to meet your expectations with this stay.

Unfortunately, many families have had to reside in local hotels with our economy as it has been, until housing is found. I am sorry if this disrupted your stay. While we appreciate your compliments on your guestroom, I apologize for the 8 legged visitors. We have the hotel sprayed monthly, but as weather changes they do appear. We go through this each year as seasons change and do all we can with our Pest Control Company to minimize them. It makes it more difficult being an outdoor property, within close proximity to the creek and highway. We will continue to do what we can with hopes all is minimized.
