This was a fantastic property. Perfect getaway for a couple. Well-maintained, clean and cosy. Provisions were generous and communication with owner very clear. Great place as a base to explore the Langhorne Creek wineries and associated attractions. Highly recommend.
This was a spacious cottage, perfect for a weekend stay. All amenities were exactly as described, plus some and the welcome basket of goodies was outstanding. The smell of the roses outside the front door, just enriched the experience - Definitely recommend it, and I will be back!

Marcus is a lovely, generous host who provides a clean and comfy bnb. And it was an actual bnb, VERY generously stock with everything you could want for a cooked breakfast, snacks and more. He was also gracious enough to offer early check in and late check out. Thank you so much Marcus.

A very lovely and quiet place. Arrived at the place to find a basket full of goodies, as well as in the fridge. The place was very clean and we found the washing machine very handy on our holidays. They also had colouring/art books and board games for entertainment. This place was situated in a nice little spot, very close to town but also in a quiet area. Communication with Marcus was very easy and overall it was a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this place & have already done so. We look forward to more future stays!
A truly lovely stay at Balavil on Lines. So much more than we expected. The place is extremely clean, tidy, and the decor so calming. We felt so welcome from the minute we arrived. The beautiful music playing as we walked in the door was just perfect. The welcome basket was incredible!
So close to many lovely places, and the landscapes wherever you drive are incredible.
We only had one wish…. That we could have stayed longer. Thank you Marcus for providing such a lovely retreat for us at a reasonable price. We’d love to stay again some day.

I can’t say enough about how great this holiday unit is - everything you need spotless presentation and in the heart of the langhorne creek wine region. Quiet, beautiful garden setting with spacious and comfy accommodation. Very private but only a couple of minutes drive from Strathalbyn.
The welcome hamper was exceptional.
I booked this stay for my grandparents, I visited them both night of their stay and they where both absolutely wrapped with the place. An amazing little spot for a getaway. Has absolutely everything you would want and need, very very clean!!

We are greatly impressed and it is well worth the money and the location which is only two minutes away from Strath. We will definitely be back. Marcus is a wonderful host and understands couple who want a quality experience and those who will look after and respect the property. The gardens are delightful, and the birdlife is prolific. It is quiet and the clean air is so calming.
What a great gem we found!, last minute accommodation for a wedding we were attending.
Marcus your hospitality was second to none, we didn't need for anything as you thought of everything we might need.

Very welcoming especially the basket of goodies and not to mention what was in the fridge. Cupboards also full of essentials. Made it more special as we travelled with our two adult daughters, they had one room completely detached from ours. Only thing that we didn’t like were all the spiders
It was so nice at the end of the day to come “home” to this comfortable, attractive accommodation. I hadn’t shopped yet and was surprised to find a welcoming basket with bread fruit butter jam wine etc. Saved me the stress. 4 minutes to shops but with a country vibe
My partner and myself enjoyed a 3 night stay. The accommodation was very clean and had everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. The food hamper was well stocked to enable us to cook a good breakfast each day and enjoy an evening wine and cheese. We could not fault the accommodation in any way and would recommend it. We would definitely use it again in the future when visiting relatives in the town.
