The Regency - Houseboat Downtown

Welcome to "The Regency!" You will be living the "sweet life" on this modern, impeccably built and designed houseboat that offers all the amenities of home, including two living spaces, a gourmet kitchen, two beds, two baths, designer furnishings, and a deck to enjoy the sunsets on the Cape Fear River. Close to everything! Enjoy an onsite restaurant and entertainment pier, where concerts and festivals are held. Stroll the Riverwalk for scenic views, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

Guests will have access to the entire houseboat. There is a locked owner's closet for our storage, but you'll have access to the rest of the house. Please note - this is a multi story property and stairs are required to access the property.

January getaway

We had a wonderful time hanging out on the back deck for meals and drinks. The boathouse is well-equipped with dishes, etc. The check-in and out processes were simple. The sunsets over the Cape Fear River were amazing.

Great houseboat

The views from this houseboat are worth it. Spent most of our time on the deck just relaxing. It’s a long walk to the end of the pier but you won’t regret it after you see the views! Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen.

Really nice and unique stay for special occasions. Highly recommend....best view at the Cove property (riverfront end unit). Great view of the river and Battleship Cove from the top floor deck. Excellent location if attending an event at Live Oak Pavilion (0.3 mile walk along waterfront).

Great visit to Wilmington

This property lived up to its description. It’s very nice and the upstairs patio was heavenly. We watched fishermen in mornings; recommend binoculars! Outdoor music until about 10pm from nearby venues but it was fine! The inside was pretty soundproof. The parking is far for seniors but it’s worth the haul!

Beautiful houseboat. Gorgeous interior…super clean. It is a hike with suitcases, bags, etc. from parking area to the last spot on the pier. Once there it is fabulous though. Views from the decks are amazing. Beds are comfortable

Book it!

Don’t hesitate, book The Regency! If you’re looking for something a little different than usual, this is definitely the place. The sunsets from the deck are unrivaled. Internet is spotty, so bring your own hotspot if you need to work. Otherwise, disconnect and relax! Cheers!

Beautiful Downtown Wilmington Houseboat!!

This houseboat was absolutely beautiful! Everything looked brand new and it was impeccably decorated. The rooms were very spacious and there was a full size fridge along with plenty of places to sit and eat. The second floor outdoor deck was perfect to have dinner or just hang out on the couches. There was also an outdoor mini fridge!! I am definitely going to come back! Our stay was a definite 10 out of 10!

We will absolutely book again

We love Wilmington so much and normally stay closer to the beach. I am so happy we decided to stay in this wonderful condo houseboat closer to the riverwalk downtown. The views were incredible. This is a wonderful little houseboat community. The house was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. Communication was thorough and easy to understand. Hosts were accommodating and provided great instruction. We will be booking again if available and I have absolutely told our friends and family. Book with them you will not regret it!!!

Exceptional location and great house boat

We were there for a short family trip to ILM. This unit is much cheaper than others but appears just as nice. Pictures and description just as they appear and say. The HB is the last boat slip so awesome views of the river, downtown ILM, and area. The HB has everything you need. Communication with hosts was good as well. Beware it is a bit of a walk from parking to the unit but there are carts you can use to haul stuff/luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

Bon Voyage! Spectacular houseboat in the Riverwalk district!

If you want something different and off the beaten path, chose this place! This houseboat was amazing! The location was great and we had beautiful views from 3 sides due to it being on the last docking station. We were able to find the location easily and there were carts at the bottom of the ramp to load your belongings. The area was nicely lit for easy visibility at night. The house itself?!!! Absolutely stunning and impeccable! The decor was beautiful and modern and the beds slept great as well. The photos do not do this place justice compared to experiencing it in person. There were several entertaining areas, but my favorite was the 2nd floor deck with a wet bar and views of the river. Side note: We arrived early and wanted to be sure we had the location correct and ran into the housekeeper. She was so pleasant and gave us restaurants to try. I will definitely be booking in the warmer months next year!

Weekend Birthday Getaway

We’ve stayed in DT Wilmington and have seen the houseboats before and wanted a different experience for this trip so we booked. Our group loves to cook and marinated steaks to grill but there was no grill as listed on the amenities. We improvised. The first night there was no ice in the ice maker and we just figured it was emptied from the last person and we’d have ice the next day but it didn’t produce ice all weekend. Other then those two little things our stay was great! It was an overall positive experience, very different and this particular houseboat is at the end of the dock with a great view. The marina should consider posting a no wake zone at the entrance to the inlet, inconsiderate boaters are the only time we would feel rocking on the boat.

This boathouse is in the perfect location downtown near the outdoor theater, restaurants and shopping. The houseboat is beautifully furnished and being the end unit, provided great views of the water. I will definitely book again.
