This is the river where grain alcohol turned into bourbon. Along this river distillers would load barges of alcohol destined for Memphis and New Orleans. To cheapen the transport, they used cask oak barrels. During the long trip down to New Orleans the alcohol would mix in with the wooden barrels and be transformed. New Orleans didn't know what to call this sweet new liquor. The casks were stamped with the county of origin, Bourbon County. Our stay way good and easy to use. (Access) The appliances and bathroom was newer and nice. The down side was the bed and couch we not very comfortable and the tv was in a cabinet and you couldnt see the full picture on the tv. Nice space especially for being an old house and good parking.
