"Really cool old hotel in Wilson with a great restaurant. Front desk is not staffed very well and multiple calls to the front desk from my room went unanswered. Lots of random hair in my room and bathroom from the previous occupant so not the most thorough cleaning. Had a great meal downstairs. TV could not be viewed from the bed. Room was a bit awkward to move around in. Breakfast was excellent. Parking in a dirt lot. So a bit of a mixed bag but overall positive."

"Breakfast really good and staff very friendly snd helpful. Ice water snd tea in lobby a really nice touch after a long, hot drive. Room was tired-looking but clean. Bathroom was redone but water pressure in shower quite low. AC unit noisy, door locks stubborn."
