"This hotel was a great stay for my family of four visiting the town of Wimberley. The room was renovated and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The town is maybe one minute away by car, you could even walk if you wanted. I also recommend hanging by their pool and maybe going to the Blue Hole for the day. With your stay, you also have access to 7A Ranch. There they have river access and a fun pioneer town that is great for a family with small kids. This was a fun family trip, but would also be great for a girls weekend."

"What a great weekend! Eric was the perfect host and the facilities were outstanding! I highly recommend this to large families. The thirteen bedrooms gave a lot of space for all of our families; the kitchen was well equipped; the pool area was superb; the main house was big enough for all of us to enjoy meals in one area; the extra chairs and tables in the barn were very helpful and the barn for evening games worked out great. The teens also enjoyed the game room."

"About 8 miles outside of Wimberley. Extremely well done cabin on hilltop. Great escape. Not for kids as it is surrounded by woods and not really suited for children. Sister cabin is about 40 yards away but still very secluded. Works well either by itself or close enough to other cabin to allow for a larger group. Perfect for a couple’s retreat. "

"The house was both beautiful and comfortable, a rare find. The pool was lovely and it was just as nice to sit outside under the covered porch and listen to the birds in the very peaceful quiet. Our group spread out — some stayed in the main house, while others took the cottage and the one bedroom apartment. They were all charming. We called the upstairs master bedroom the “Queen for a day” suite, for its cool tub and luxury. The cottage and small apartment were cozy and convenient."
