"i had the best stay at river lodge inn for my birthday weekend. the vibe is unbeatable. super cute rooms that are more villa like. each room has its own grass front that makes it super pet friendly, which was my number one priority. you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well put together, with super cozy beds. we slept with the fireplace on. the pool/jacuzzi area is super fun. unfortunately it rained while i was there but we were still able to enjoy the bar area. can’t wait to return on better weather. the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and so friendly. shoutout to michael and the other guy at the bar! no notes for this place. will for sure be back with my pup! "

"We came to Paso Robles for a quick weekend stay to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Before our arrival I received a friendly text from Mike stating the place was ready and we could arrive at any time. Mike greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property, his home a located on property as well. The cottage is so cozy and perfect for what we needed. The bed was so comfy, the water pressure in the shower was good, he even had a boombox (I wish I had dusted off my cassettes and brought those with me hahaha) My ONLY complaint is I wish the pillows were a little better but that’s probably just a personal preference as I am never really happy with the pillows. I really should just start bringing my own. This place was perfectly situated and not a far drive from anywhere we were going. Mike had laid out some vouchers for us to use as some of the wineries, and he did have some great recommendations. He checked in on us once to let us know he had placed some extra weights on the spa because it was a bit windy. Unfortunately, the weather was gloomy and rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the spa but I am sure that would have been wonderful. Overall we had a great stay and if we are ever back in Paso Robles I hope Mike will have is back at his place. "

"Large spacious suite on the 4th floor was very quiet & comfortable. Our grandkids got to enjoy the heated pool and the restaurant was quite good. Great place to stay when visiting the Paso area."

"The home was exactly as described in a quiet location overlooking a vineyard. Made for a great morning with coffee on the porch. The home was clean, well-stocked, and very open. The extra half-bath came in handy as we rushed to tasting appointments. There was a little snag in communication when we arrived but it all worked out. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice hotel and accommodations! Friendly welcoming staff, clean and well designed facilities! The three of us shared a two queen bed room which was great as it did not feel crammed. Each of us had room to place our belongings and we were fortunate enough to be there when we were disturbed by any surrounding hoo haha. Definitely will come back!"
