Hotel was not fancy by any means, but clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant and bar on site were a great feature, and close to everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommend - very good value!

Budget hotel ideal for a quick overnight to catch a flight or transfer—no microwave, even with extra payments. A music band plays all night, but no music after 11 PM. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 7 PM, giving guests time to eat and travel; a charming hotel and a good option at this level.

Considering the price of the stay, this hotel seems quite acceptable. However, the rooms facing the street can be a little noisy, which can be somewhat disturbing when trying to sleep at night. One of the hotel’s main strengths is the breakfast, which is quite good. The servers are also friendly and attentive. They occasionally come by to check on you, and if you need a coffee refill, they’re happy to bring you one.

Exceptional value for the cost. The bed was very comfy, the shower perfect temperature and pressure, the Tv was huge and the parking was exceptional. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and was very tasty. The staff were all very polite and helpful and the rooms were clean. The only thing missing was a microwave in the room. We’ll definitely be staying here again anytime we’re back in Winnipeg.

Decent place if you're on a budget. There's no microwave or fridge in the room. The rooms are a little dated but the AC is awesome. Nice and cold room. The bed is comfy and there's a nice big TV in the room. The free breakfast is fulfilling Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

Budget friendly - Room was nice but carpet was very dirty. Made the mistake of walking barefoot in the room (yikes). Restaurant in main building did not serve adult beverages. If you want an alcoholic beverage with your meal, you need to sit in the bar and have your food sent there. Traffic noise from Portage Ave was noticeable but tolerable. Location was convenient for us and there is a beautiful park across Portage Ave south of the hotel.

In checking in, when I made my reservation I was told that my room was on the 2nd. floor. I have mobility issues and difficulty climbing stairs. I called the hotel and asked if I could have a room on the main floor, they indicated that they were all booked. When I arrived, the hotel gave me a room on the main floor indicating that they checked their records and found I was a repeat customer and provided me with a different room. Also the comp. breakfast was excellent and fast and friendly service.
