A spectacular stay. Hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, assisting us with baggage, helping us in to the building, and giving us a tour around the loft. Incredible amenities; dishwasher, washer/dryer unit, and lots of storage space for luggage. Simply stunning decor and building - up to date and accessible. Will be recommending to any family and friends!

Amazing stay at the loft

We had an amazing time at the Loft on James. The space was better than the photos show and the owners have gone above and beyond with the decor. I would highly recommend this property.

Great spot for a downtown getaway. The loft is a wonderful place, everything you need to feel at home. Beds were comfortable, kitchen is adequately stocked. Would certainly stay again.

Amazing!

The loft was gorgeous and we loved all the history behind it! Martina made everything so easy at check in and check out. It was a very busy few days and the loft provided us the perfect place to unwind. I absolutely would stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great stay in an amazing loft

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique loft. The loft is amazing and we loved how Martina and Bruce put so much detail in everything. The location of the loft is great and you can visit all of the attractions in Winnipeg easily. In the Exchange District you have a big opportunity to visit nice restaurants and you can learn a lot about the history of Winnipeg. We would definitely recommend staying in the Loft of Bruce and Martina and Lauren

Outstanding Host and Condo

Martina is a lovely host, who met us at check-in, and toured us through this most unique condo. It is such a beautifully appointed space. Truly unique. It was like living in an art gallery. It was also very nice to have a parking space. We would very happily stay here again.

Excellent stay in the theatre district

Beautifully decorated space. Just like in the pictures. Kitchen well-equipped. Comfy seating in TV area. Very comfortable beds. Great location, a short walk to restaurants and theatres. Excellent communication with hosts. Martina met us and showed us around. A gem of a place. So unique. Highly recommend.

Winnipeg Getaway

This place was amazing—beyond our expectations! Though there are plenty of places to go within walking distance, you will most likely just want to stay in and admire the art gallery/museum-like charm of this place. There’s so much to look at, yet it’s still cozy and welcoming! Our host greeted us with wine and desserts, told us about the local hotspots, and checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. We can’t wait to come back and stay here!!

Fantastic

Martina and Bruce were just fabulous hosts. So accommodating. They were so helpful with a surprise birthday dinner for my partner. Check in was easy, location is amazing and the condo itself is one of the most beautifully decorated and comfortable I’ve seen. 11 out of 10.

AMAZING.

This property is beautiful. It’s extremely walkable to various bars and restaurants. The owner of this property is extremely detail oriented. I was blown away by how stunning it was. She had great recommendations for things to do and see. She also met us there to ensure we knew how to get checked in and where to park. Did I mention she brought cake? 10/10 would recommend this to anybody!

Best place to stay near downtown winnepeg

Rhis was nothing short of a 5 star rating. Actually it should be 10. The hospitality that the hosts express is nothing short of amazing. My first time to Canada. From booking to checking out, I had ZERO worries. There was sparkling wi e and a beautiful cake for my daughter upon arrival for her birthday. Everything was supplied and best places to visit and eat. The hosts are available 24/7 during your stay and make sure that you know they are there to make your stay the most enjoyable ever! Don't stay anywhere else!!!!!

Awesome interior design

Let’s start with the basics - very clean, spacious, comfortable, very well stocked, excellent host. All five stars. But the truly amazing aspect of this unit was the absolutely incredible work they did on the interior design. Basically, they gutted an old warehouse and created an amazing living space. Warm and inviting, yet incorporating dozens of antique fixtures and features to remind you this was a very old building. We were literally amazed and totally impressed. We sent pictures to all of our family. We were also impressed what the city has done with the old Exchange District. Nice tourist district now. Good restaurants and hiking trails nearby. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely Perfect

We met Martina at the property, she was absolutely lovely and welcoming - complete with wine, chocolates and incredible cake! Her recommendations for restaurants were spot on and responded to my questions via text promptly. The loft was perfect - so well thought out and decorated, we needed nothing more than what was provided, they have thought of every single detail - down to an awesome variety of games. The beds were very comfortable, pillows and linens included - we are a very picky group when it comes to bedding, usually bringing our own pillows with us which just weren't needed here, everything is great quality and really comfortable The location is also perfect, we were able to walk to all of the many incredible local spots within 5-15 minutes (which was really nice to not have to drive - parking spot included too!). We would highly recommend staying here and are already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you, Martina!

Fabulous Loft

This was a great central place to stay and enjoy Winnipeg. The loft is really cute and the owner has thought of everything. Its the little things that puts this place over the top. Martina can be very involved or as little involved as you want. She researched what was going on the week we were there from concerts to plays to baseball game. They have a big map on the wall that shows the areas special interest and how to get there. Martina went over the map so we knew where to go and what restaurants she recommended. She was spot on! Bruce met us in the unloading area and saved us a spot so we could unload easily. Ive never had such one on one treatment before. You could tell they wanted you to totally enjoy your trip. They even left a bottle of wine and a mint on each of our pillows. Thank you Martina & Bruce! We loved your place and would love to stay here again next time were in town.

Martina and Bruce were very personable and accommodating hosts. The LOFTonJAMES was beautifully designed with the rich history of the Winnepeg area in mind! We loved the unique industrial touch. The highlighted wall map in the loft and their personal recommendations were definitely appreciated and so helpful. The location is near so many great Pubs and restaurants as well as convenient historical and shopping sites within walking distance. Nice couple's getaway

Great hosts, and the place was very clean and welcoming. We spent a couple nights, but wish we could stay longer, we will definitely be back again!
