Stayed with 2 adult nieces. Room was large and had room to spread out a bit. We got a room with a sleeper sofa, which would have been great for children, not so much for adults. We had almost the whole hotel to ourselves, which worried me at first, but turned out great. Older rooms but maintained very well and clean.

The staff when we arrived were friendly. The room was kind of dirty. There was dog hair all over the base of beds. The TV and bed frames were dusty. There were crumbs of food from the last people in the room.

Fun place to stay with kids for the pool. The pullout couch was one of the most uncomfortable pullout couches we have ever slept on and the breakfast wasnt great. But overall we had a good stay.

The room was clean, the maids were super helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the large rooms were really nice. My only complaint is the breakfast. I would expect more than a continental breakfast with packaged sandwiches. The produce was good.

We have stayed here several times, and find it very nice. It’s clean and in a good location. We are usually traveling to attend a family event nearby. I think the prices are a bit high. The breakfast is OK. The pool area is very nice for adults and children alike.

Love the kiddie pool. I've rented at the Plaza several times for this amenity for my grandkids. Only problem is the fish slide is missing pieces and scratches the kids when they slide down. Love the hot tub. It's nice and hot.

This was our third stay at The Plaza. We love being able to stay there when visiting our granddaughter at Winona State. We like the fact that is has a very nice attached restaurant, a great free breakfast, and friendly staff. The only complaint I have had in three visits happened this time. It was this: our bathroom smelled like a wet dog -- a smell that I cannot stand! Obviously, a previous guest had given their pet a bath. Too bad the room hadn't been cleaned up properly and sanitized. I had no idea before this stay that the hotel was "pet friendly" -- which I'm sure is appreciated by some visitors. (I did see one person with a small dog on a leash this time.) I think the hotel needs to have rooms -- like non-smoking rooms -- that are NON-PET rooms! I will guarantee you that I'll ask for one the next time I return.

This was an okay stay. We had 3 little kids that used the pool area. The pool area could use some maintenance on their slides and a warmer pool temp, it worked well for our family. Our breakfast consisted of frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches. None of this stuff bad, but certainly expected a bit more for over $200 for a one night stay.

Happy with our stay. Wasn’t anything extravagant but had attached restaurant/bar, friendly staff and rooms that filtered most of the ruckus and noise out. Nice splash pad type area for littles, deeper pool for the bigger kids and a fairly good sized hot tub for the adults. Overall happy and would definitely stay again .
