This beautifully updated 1-bedroom condo is just steps from the mountain - take the elevator up one floor and ski right down to the Zephyr lift! It's on the 4th floor of the main (C) building at Iron Horse and sleeps up to 6. THE HOME Living area: Relax in front of the gas fireplace after a day of adventure. There's an incredible curved TV, a queen Murphy bed, a new sofa sleeper and a private balcony. Kitchen: Bright kitchen with granite counters and newer appliances. Bedroom: Queen bed. Bathroom: Nicely updated bathroom. Access: The C building has an elevator. IRON HORSE RESORT Iron Horse sits right on the Corridor run - the green run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park - about 1/4 mile from the Zephyr Gondola. Skiing in and out: From Iron Horse you ski down about 1/4 mile to the base of Winter Park. To ski home, head over to the Mary Jane side and catch the Corridor run - Iron Horse is about 3/4 mile down from Mary Jane. Getting to the base of Mary Jane requires skiing a blue run. You can also take the free Town of Winter Park shuttle (Iron Horse is on the green line), and the free Lift bus picks up frequently at the main entrance. Pool and hot tubs: Free for guests - a year-round indoor/outdoor heated pool, two large outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness room with steam rooms and showers. Pool deck hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Ski storage: Shared ski storage for owners and guests is on level 5 of the D building, near the doors to the Corridor run. If you'd like to lock up your gear, locks are available at the front desk for $35 (they don't fit snowboards). A full-service ski shop with rentals is on site. Laundry: A shared laundry room is on the 2nd floor of the D building. Bikes: To protect the carpets and walls, bikes can't be stored inside the condo or on balconies. GETTING AROUND The Winter Park Resort base village is about 1/4 mile away, with lifts for skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking, plus snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining and entertainment year-round. The Grand Park Rec Center is about 4.6 miles away, and The Foundry next door offers bowling, a movie theater and a brick-oven pizza bar. Safeway is 6.2 miles away in Fraser. Two sheets encase the comforter and are washed between every guest for an extra-clean sleep. • Parking: 2 parking passes - 1 for the indoor garage and 1 for outdoor parking. A replacement fee applies for lost passes. • Smoking: No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property, including the balcony. • Fire restrictions: We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates on fire restrictions in our area.
