NOTE: This resort is located over 1,000 acres of hilly terrain. A vast majority of unit's will require stairs; in few cases up to 30 stairs leading to your unit. Please make sure your travel party is active or able to navigate at least one flight of stairs.

The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or minimum age of 18). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

The check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. On another note, late check-in procedures are located outside of the registration building. Picking up the receiver will call security.

The nearest airport to Christmas Mountain Village is Dane County Regional (MSN) which is 55 miles by car respectively.

What we reted and all pictures on webisite in no way were what we had

Booked for anniversary....and once again I experienced a bait and switch. What we rented is not what we got. The pictures on this website and what we walked into in no way are the same. When I contacted support from the company who confirmed our reservation.... all I got were auto messages saying my concerns had been passed on to support services. NOW .... best advice I can give you is to get in writing that what you see is what you get. That will never happen to my again....Our lovely rental with a fireplace, full kitchen and Living room, balcony/patio ... was just next door ... what we got was a tiny 2 room efficiency....I will say that the resort certainly had maintained this property very well ... wish I could have seen the one inn the pictures.... VRBO ... you should take this off the site OR make sure you show both what we thought we had and what we had!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING
