"We arrived after a 5.5 hr drive and dropped our stuff in the room and went for dinner with our 2 dogs … when we returned to our ‘accessible’ room we were very tired and it was late … upon investigation there were human blonde hairs on the sofa, someone’s scrunchie on the floor next to the bed, the accessible shower floor was dirty, the taps were dirty and there’s was no handwash next to the sink, which was also dirty along with the skirting boards next to the bed … I wasn’t even sure that the bed was clean at this point, but it was too late to upheave everything, so I slept fully clothed on the bed! This was just such a major disappointment and we had to be back in the road before 7am …. We had booked a suite as always but this was a disgusting accessible room …Upon leaving I mentioned all the above to reception, who replied well we thought it would be more accessible for you with the dogs … to which I replied I’m an IHG member and have always stayed in a clean suite on the 2nd or third floor …"

"Hotel is right next to LeShuttle so really convenient for onward travel. It also has a gated car park (where local police use as a base) so is convenient for not unpacking car and bikes overnight. Breakfast was simple but a good offering before a long drive. Room could have been a bit cleaner (I noticed hairs and a finger nail), but overall did the job. It’s also next to a shopping centre with lots of places to eat."

"Disappointed as we had read good review s. Tiny room, had to squeeze through the door with luggage. Bed was very close to walls with little room to get in and out of bed. But the biggest issue was there was no aircon, no fan, and with the windows open lots of mosquitoes, in 34 degrees it was unbearable. Thankfully we were there for only one night! So sorry as we have previously stayed in good Ibis hotels."
