This was our second time staying at this cabin. Its so nice and we love having the hot tub to relax in. Thanks again for having such a cute place to stay at!
Thanks. The cabin is unique. We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit. It was clean and fun to see the train collections. I come from a long line of train collectors and former Santa Fe employees, so that was a treat. We didn't have a chance to toast marshmallows but what a lovely idea!We did have difficulty finding the place. The directions are to State Highway 82. The abbreviation (se) threw off our GPS. We were surprised at how far from wister it was. Also, travelers need to be aware to pack a meal because there aren't any restaurants nearby.
Cabin was clean and smelled wonderful! The hot tub was relaxing and great for aches! The fall decor was so cute. The railroad memorabilia and books made it a special experience! No doubt I’ll be back!
This place was amazing. It was very comfortable for a family of four. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never stayed in anything other than hotel rooms but upon entering, I was very happy with the cleanliness and the theme was so cute with the train station. We definitely wanna go back as a husband and wife to experience the hot tub when it gets a little cooler.
The cabin was beautiful and loved the history of it , ok only complaint is in pics we saw two beds and there was only one bed . There was a cold out couch but no sheets for it for my kids to sleep on . After looking at pics again I could see that it was the same bed and bedroom only with a different bedding . This was our only complaint, loved the backyard space and so did my 2 children , HOT TUB was beyond other hot tubs

The downside is the location for sure. It literally sits on the Highway in an intersection. It is a bit nosey from the traffic and the neighbors behind it. HOWEvER, once you open the door and step inside you are amazed at the attention to details and decor. Check out the back patio with HOT TUB and fire pit for ultimate relaxation, once evening arrives. Very nice property!
It the start of my bday and this was our first night. We got there and the host set up birthday banners and left me a nice surprise! So thoughtful! Not to mention how cute this place is! It’s perfect!
the place was very nice and the stay was great i was not impressed with the fact that there was a list of chores to do before we left. The $280.00 I paid should have covered that, also should let people know that it is right next to the highway.
We had a wonderful stay at Crosstie Corner! Everything was very clean, it had a well stocked kitchen, and comfy bedding. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice place to stay in the area!
Very comfortable and quaint cabin. Well kept, except for the traffic right next to the cabin. I expected a better view around the cabin.Releatively quiet. I prefer a cabin at BROKEN Bow "Long Bear Cabins for my next trip.

This is a great little cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked for light cooking. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Hot tub was a big plus. Will definitely consider staying again.
The pictures definitely don’t do this place justice! It was clean, cute, and charming. Owners were awesome with communication. The hot tube was perfect! Everything was perfect, especially the S’mores by the outdoor fireplace! Thank you!!
This place is an absolute gem!! So don’t over look it!!!
Pictures do not do this piece of property any Justice! It is private, cozy, peaceful and romantic just what any couple needs to get away from their day to day hustle. We definitely will be back!
We stayed here while closing on some land near there.
We liked the cabin, it's very unique and quaint. I Really like the train decorations/motif. There is a very interesting book with many pictures of the history of the people and surrounding area and towns.
The only less than great things were the hot tub was very cool and didn't warm up and there is a lot of road noise but when right next to the highway, there's going to be road noise.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Crosstie Cabin.
It was a nice getaway, cabin was nice and clean also loved it. Internet didn’t love lol. Was horrible but we weren’t there for that. Would definitely recommend Crosstie corner , little remote. There are places to eat 10-15 mins away if you want to eat out during your stay, butcher also for some meat but no grocery store close by so pack some for your stay. Overall AWESOMENESS lol. Thank you for having us
My wife and I stayed for just a quick overnight stop on our way back from a cruise.
The place was clean and as described. Hot tub was just what we needed after a long day in the car.
