The non-smoking holiday flat is located in a small complex with a total of 6 flats. It is centrally located - approx. 300 m to the old harbour and approx. 2000 m to the beach. Grocery shops, various shops for daily needs and doctors are within easy walking distance. A supermarket with fresh bread rolls, which is also open on Sundays in the high season, is in the immediate vicinity. The flat, which was built in 1995, has a living space of approx. 42 m² and is in the attic (with sloping ceilings as shown in the photos) on the first floor. It consists of a cosy living room with south-facing balcony overlooking the garden, fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, spacious shower room/WC, bedroom with double bed, open bunk for 2 persons (ideal for children) in the loft which can be reached via a staircase in the living room. A storage room, a garden shed and a car parking space assigned to the flat (no. 6), as well as a travel cot and high chair are available. Living room:Large corner seating area with sleeping function in case your snoring partner needs to leave the bedroom, modern Samsung smart flat screen TV (55"), satellite system, DVD-BlueRay player, radio-music system with CD, Bluetooth, USB connection and remote control. Balcony: south-facing, 4 garden chairs, 1 table, parasol, electric barbecue incl. extension cable and side table for the balcony if required. Especially for children: Hauck high chair, type Alpha +, travel cot, pencils and books, games, kites, puzzles, beach shell. Especially for tennis players: Our guests have the opportunity to use a hard tennis court on the sports grounds at the school free of charge during the summer. On presentation of the spa card you will receive the key for the court at the Cliner Quelle / spa administration. Pets: On request. Miscellaneous: In 2019 the roof was newly insulated and covered, which is also noticeable in summer as the flat does not heat up so quickly. If it does get too warm, you can quickly create a draught through the windows opposite. In winter, on the other hand, it is always nice and warm :-) As this is a flat in the attic, there are some sloping ceilings, please also see our photos.

Please note that the visitor's tax is indicated as payable "on site" in the additional costs. For organisational reasons, the tourist tax must be transferred to the owner before arrival. Please pay attention to the corresponding information in your travel documents, which will be sent to you after booking and full payment about 3 weeks before arrival, so that the visitor's tax can be calculated correctly and you can later receive the spa cards from the owner, please provide the names and ages of all travellers when booking. On arrival we will provide you with an arrival pack free of charge. This consists of a bin liner, toilet roll, dishcloth, tea towel and a shower mat. Guest departure must be by 10.00 am, arrival not before 3.00 pm. Should guests unexpectedly arrive before 3.00 p.m. and move into a flat that has not been cleaned, cleaning will no longer be carried out. Carolinensiel has a lot to offer ..., promenade along the Harle, varied gastronomic offer, the Cliner Quelle, an indoor saltwater pool with junior and children's pool + water slide + sauna and wellness area, heated outdoor seawater pool (free of charge for our guests), beach, playgrounds, German Sielhafenmuseum, mudflat walks, paddle steamer, tennis court on the sports grounds (free of charge for our guests) and a huge programme of events .Location description : The flat is centrally located in Kutterweg / corner of Wittmunder Straße in Carolinensiel. In a few minutes you can reach the town centre or the spa centre with the indoor swimming pool. You will need a little more time to get to the beach or Harlesiel harbour. The centre and heart of Carolinensiel, or "Caro" as the locals affectionately call it, is the old museum harbour with historic old sailing boats and flatboats and the Sielhafenmuseum, which is unique on the coast. Tranquil small East Frisian towns such as Jever and Esens are easy to reach by car or bike. The East Frisian district town of Wittmund is 13 kilometres away and its pedestrian zone offers opportunities for shopping and strolling. The Frisian district town of Jever, with its historic old town, well-known castle and famous brewery, is a twenty-minute drive away. The East Frisian coast offers unspoilt villages, idyllic landscapes, a seemingly endless network of cycle paths and, of course, the uniqueness of the Wadden Sea. Just behind the dyke is the beach with the shallow Wadden Sea, ideal for families with children. On the beach you can watch the seagulls, listen to the waves and relax. You can also get a breath of fresh air on long walks along the dyke. You can also take a day trip to the islands or the seal banks by ferry or excursion boat. The ferries to Wangerooge are easy to reach. Our apartment is in a quiet location, but you are still very close to the centre of events. The town centre with shops, boutiques, grocery shops and bakeries (also open on Sunday mornings during the season) is just a few steps away. From the holiday flat to the old harbour, a walk along the banks of the Harle is still an insider tip, but highly recommended. From the old harbour you are officially on the most beautiful spa promenade in East Frisia. Romantically situated restaurants, cafés, tea rooms, mini golf, pedal boat hire and sunny benches invite you to linger. And if you want to enjoy the whole thing from the water - then take the small paddle steamer "Concordia" which will take you almost to the beach. Or would you like to go in the other direction? Not to the beach, but into the hinterland, for example to Altfunnixsiel, which was still by the sea around 300 years ago? Then we recommend an excursion on a hire boat or a museum ship. You glide through an amphibious, tranquil landscape, under bridges, past old farms - as if time had stood still 100 years ago. If the weather is bad, the North Sea play town of Wangerland or the Klabautermann indoor playground in Esens are highly recommended.
