"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "We had a great time staying here when we came to visit Verdun. We found the place to be very peaceful and we were able to really relax. The hostess was very friendly and was always available for our questions. We appreciated the many small details provided the hostess such as a lovely bouquet of wildflowers."

"Spacious house with sunny garden and various places to sit, so always shadow. Very complete kitchen Quiet place. We had a great stay !"

"Rooms were spacious and there is lots of room. Only one parking space on the sidewalk in front of the house in case you have two cars. The actual address is 219BIS, not 221 as listed on VRBO so that you can more easily find it. There is NO AC in case you were wondering but the house did cool down after dark. The roof windows were full of bees with one having a large hive, so keep those closed. Very clean and stocked well! Worked well for our large family of 10."

"The hotel is quite something! Walked around the grounds and it was amazing.. To the spiral staircases, to the gardens to the violin playing over the speakers. Room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only neutral-negative comment would be the breakfast. It cost 15Euros which is fine. In fact it could easily be baked into the cost of the room and I wouldn't bat an eye since the stay itself it great value. The breakfast doesn't live up the magnificence of the rest of the hotel. "
