"The front desk staff & bar employees were all very friendly & helpful. I’d give them a 5 stars. The shuttle driver easily 10 stars!! He was wonderful. The property itself is not clean & the rooms need a complete overhaul. They are old, in need of deep DEEP cleans and repairing & repainting—they need new carpet & flooring—new appliances + TVs that work properly—the SMELL of marijuana in our room was AWFUL. It stunk the entire 2 days we were there. Frankly you can smell it everywhere but in our room it smelled like it had been hot boxed in for days. We would have moved but there were no others clean and their “clean” leaves much to be desired to begin with. We came here as a group with female basketball players who were playing in a tournament and we all kept saying how the online photos “catfished” us. I would not purposely choose to stay here again, ever. Maybe we can recruit Louis to come to the next place we stay for travel ball?!!"

"The resort itself if beautiful - two pools, lazy river, tennis court, shuffle board court, basketball court, mini golf course. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Resort has gated security. It is a cashless facility (credit/debit or room charge only), so be aware of that. The one fee that is buried WAY in the fine print is that when you rent from a third party (Expedia, etc) OTHER THAN the vacation week owner, Marriott Vacation Club charges $20-$30 PER DAY, PER VEHICLE for parking for any of their resorts. This added an additional $80 to our cost for our short stay. I may have looked at staying somewhere else if I had known that upfront (who reads through ALL the fine print? Lesson learned for me). We will stay there again (as we have for many years prior) but will probably only rent from a vacation week owner if we have the chance."

"Located close to Convention Center, baseball stadium and beach. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Great location if not interested in staying on the beach."

"The breakfast was not that good.We only ate there one day because it was poor the other two days we went out the pool was okay.No lights by the pool for nighttime swimming.You could not bring any chairs to the beach.So there was no sitting on the beach"

"This was our second time back. This time we brought the kids. They had a great time. The property is wonderful and the staff are friendly overall. The only downside is there aren't many amenities/extras like a microwave or free breakfast or beach cabanas for rent. They should also open the bar at the pool area. They should invest in ice machines in each building as well because its very inconvenient to get ice in only 1 of the 3. When we stayed last time it was just adults so it wasn't as bad but with kids it gets inconvenient. We had a few other minor hiccups like fridge not working properly and no towels at check-in but overall a good stay. "
