"Needs a bit of a renovation in places, but is great value for money otherwise. Location is fantastic and staff helpful.
The TVs are super annoying and difficult to connect to. That is my biggest gripe."
"AMAZING staff especially the front desk - Maria was just outstanding and went above and beyond to sort any slight issues and did everything she could to make our stay the best! We will definitely be back! Thank you!"
"The location of this hotel was great - across from the beach and next to nice bars and restaurants. Nice size room, with adequate furniture. Bed linen good, appliances in the room good. However, the shower leaked terribly and bathtub was in need of replacement. Mostly what I was not happy with was the attitude of the staff. I complained about the chilliness of the pool water and the manager retorted "You are in the tropics now". I live in Brisbane, Queensland. Maybe he thought I came from the South Pole! I informed him that I had been in Port Douglas the previous week, which is 4 hours drive further north into the tropics, and the hotels I stayed in up there had heaters take the initial chill out of the pools. I spent many an hour in their pools. Also, I stupidly left my expensive Samsung phone charger still plugged in when I checked out. I returned to the hotel only five hours later and was told by reception that the next guest had not yet arrived but the cleaners had been through the room. I fully expected to get my charger back. However it was nowhere to be found. I accept that it was my fault for leaving it behind but due diligence would dictate that the management ring the cleaner to see if it was found by them. Instead I was told there were many chargers left behind and there was no reason for the hotel to keep them. Do they throw away good phone chargers or steal them?"
