"I read the other reviews before booking and I thought that I would be able to handle it. I've traveled all over and stayed in some really disgusting hostels so I thought the room wouldn't be so bad in comparison. I don't mind the stains on the chairs or the holes in the comforters, as long as the sheets are clean (which they were), but the smell of the room was terrible. Someone had obviously smoked a lot in there. The shower curtain had mold all over it; those are not expensive to replace and soaking in bleach should take care of it (easy fixes). The last straw was when I went to make coffee and although I wouldn't normally I checked where the water was - black mold. I'm allergic to mold and as soon as I opened it I started sneezing. On this trip I've stayed at several places at the same price point and they were all much nicer. This place shouldn't be more than $80 including taxes and fees a night, at least then you would know you're getting what you pay for."
"Everything was wonderful. The staff were just lovely. The only problem was we found the bed uncomfortable. It wasn’t unbearable, for one night. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It is beautiful."
"Amenities I have a 4 because I didn’t use any. We were in and out. This place is emasculate. The room we had was newer looking, super clean and the staff, only 2 we dealt with were great. We were off season I believe so not many there during our time. I’m sure it would be a booming place once the golf season starts. Everything was beyond maintained. I’d definitely go back and recommend it. "
"We stumbled upon this hotel, and our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.
Super great staff, check in, check out, and breakfast staff were all amazing!
It’s old and charming with several buildings involved in the hotel as a whole. Some are directly attached and some are separate adjacent buildings.
We stayed in the Wellington house and loved it.
The water pressure in our shower was a touch light, likely due to low flow shower heads, but still good enough to get a good shower in the morning.
House baked quiche and pastry for breakfast, and if you have room, try their overnight oats… soooo good!!! When we are back this way, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "
"Nothing wrong with the place I didn’t realize what kind of place it was and I was not expecting that ! Not for me but may work well for others understand the type of place it is before you book online"
