Great Stay!
This lakehouse was perfectly located for a short weekend to enjoy Minocqua. Beautiful lake views, wood available for the firepit, and surrounded by plenty of great supper clubs. Had a great time, would recommend!

Found a keeper
My friends & I take a ice fishing trip each year somewhere in Northern Wisconsin. Glad I found this gem right on a lake. We put alot of time on the ice came up Thursday left Sunday. Cabin had plenty of room for the 6 of us. It was very nice to just walk out onto the lake and catch fish right away. Close enough that the guys could yell you have a flag when i was to busy catching fish in my shack. We will be returning next year for sure

Ice fishing trip
We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We came to do some ice fishing and the hosts went above and beyond to provide some good tips and tricks. The cabin was clean, spacious and well maintained. The pellet stove warmed us up quickly after a long day on the ice. We had everything we needed and more. Great location, wonderful home and hosts were so kind and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and we would 10/10 recommend!

Family Thanksgiving Getaway
Our family had a nice relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful cabin! The views of the lake from not only the deck but from inside the cabin were breathtaking. We had a great Thanksgiving holiday! Jessica was great, always fast to answer any questions I had. We would definitely rent again.

Pros: owner communication, accurately described property. Nice view on a nice lake. We didn't use the boat but if the weather were better, I bet it would be great. Cons: cell and internet are real weak; queen bed isn't too comfortable.

Wonderful get-away
We just enjoyed a wonderful fall color getaway at this great cabin on Little Spider Lake. Cabin is spacious, very clean and welcoming. The lake views are spectacular, there is a pontoon boat for rental (we did not use it but boat looks very nice). The cabin is well stocked. The hosts are very nice and helpful if you have questions, they get back to you promptly. Great location for spending time all through Vilas County and only an hour from Bond Falls and the Black River Scenic Byway. We would recommend this cabin w/o hesitation and we plan on returning when time allows.

Northern escape
5 of us stayed here. We fished, we had bonfires, relaxed, walked to Marty's supper club for dinner, made dinners at the cabin, played cards and slept like babies in the comfy beds. Loved every bit of our experience! We'll be back.

Long weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! Jessica was very responsive and helpful. We stayed from Thursday-Sunday. The lake was too cold for swimming, but the view was breathtaking. We saw a bald eagle on our first night! We enjoyed making s’mores over the fire at night. Definitely recommend, this is a great deal.

Fantastic stay in the Northwoods
Excellent vacation home. Access to the pontoon boat made this a special week. The house is stocked to grill/cook, make bonfires and enjoy the lake. Great place to spot bald eagles and the fall colors were incredible on the lake. Easy drive to downtown Minocqua (<10 min) and short walk to Marty's supper club. Jessica was very easy to work with and gave us some great recs for the week. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect setting! Kids had great experience learning about nature and fishing, comfortable beds, kitchen has everything. Best part is sitting in the morning with coffee on the porch and by the warm fire at night.

So peaceful!
This is our third year booking this property and we are still in love. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful with all of the fun that comes on a lake. The cabin is clean and stocked with all we need. Our family looks forward to this vacation. The kids love to boat and swim off the dock. The parents like to float in the lake, watch eagles, read, and pontoon. I would highly recommend a vacation here!

Family vacation
Our family spent the week of the 4th of July at Little Spider lake. We had a wonderful time. Jessica was great to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. Being able to rent a pontoon right at the property was a HUGE plus and our family enjoyed daily cruises on the beautiful lake and its bays. Our family of 6 adults and 3 children had plenty of room. The sunporch was a plus as well. It gave us a place to keep our beach gear, sandy shoes, etc. The mini frig and bar area was great as well. Overall a great experience!

Fantastic Cabin
The cabin was a little hard to find in the dark, but I was able to get ahold of the property owner who was pleasant and very helpful. The cabin itself was lovely! VERY clean and comfortable. Master bedroom has a sleep number bed (we have one at home) which was a pleasant surprise! The main floor was a little chilly on the super cold days, but the pellet stove kept us toasty warm and gave great ambience. We had access to Netflix and Disney + which was really nice. There was a sweet little Christmas tree which was a nice touch. The owners also suggested a snowshoeing opportunity which was very kind. I would definitely stay here again! Also - Marty’s Place (about 100 yards from the cabin) had great food.

Great place for a cozy getaway
Our family of 5 (kids ages 9,11,13) stayed here for an extended weekend over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. The pictures included in the listed are fairly accurate. To note, the main dining space has a table for six and there is an additional 4 person high top table space in the main living area as well. The Christmas tree in the living room was a fun surprise! We very much enjoyed use of the pellet stove. It was easy to use and really enhanced the cozy feel. The furnishings were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. The bedrooms were spacious, and I especially enjoyed the sleep number bed in the master bedroom. The bunk room was great for my boys. They loved having the games and, even legos, available to play with. Each bedroom provided plenty of space, and closet space. The full bath was spacious and clean ad had great water pressure in the shower. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a lamp in the bunk room and a few more forks in the kitchen; other than that it was excellent! Being colder weather we didn't use the 3 season room much. We did like having that area to serve as an extended entry/mudroom space. The exterior of the cabin has a very large, new deck. Much of their surrounding land is hilly, many steps down to the water's edge. There were other cabins in close proximity, but given the time of year we didn't see hardly anyone else around. If you would be interested in taking a longer walk or run, the cabin is in a bit of a limited spot as its very close to Hwy 51. We were able to walk along the snowmobile trail near 51 which lead to a quieter road a bit to the south. The cabin is a short drive to the Woodruff/Minocqua area, yet still feels cozy and remote. Jessica was an excellent host and was very accessible through the messaging app. She even provided a recommendation for a great hike in the UP which was spectacular! We very much enjoyed our time at this cabin.

Quiet Cottage with Amazing Views
The cottage photos and descriptions matched the space. It is a smaller lake, but peaceful, nice little beach, great deck, and cute cabin. The bedrooms were more spacious than we had anticipated and the cottage had everything we needed. We had some pretty cold weather while we were there, but were still able to get out and do a little fishing and walking on the paved trails by Boulder Junction. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!

Great time a the Northwoods.
My family and and I stayed at Northern Memories. We had a wonderful time. The place is great! We had fun everyday on the lake with the pontoon boat. We caught many fish, blue gills, perch, bass, northern and walleye. Jessica was great to work with too! We would love to come back and stay there again sometime.

Family Vacation
The kids had a blast swimming and fishing off of the pier. The grandkids and their dads enjoyed fishing on the lake they even caught enough fish to have a fish fry. We enjoyed watching the eagles and listening to the loons. The sunsets are beautiful over the lake.

Where to start?! We all loved our week long stay. The property was perfect for our family. The cabin layout and seating areas Inside and outside were great. The decor and amenities made us feel at home. The view from the cabin was phenomenal! The lake was so perfect! We were able to swim and fish right off the dock! It was beautiful for kayaking. There is a small sand bar in the middle of the lake that we enjoyed and took breaks at between the kids tubing. The lake was so peaceful and perfect for all the activities we did. This lake is not crazy busy which we really appreciated. We had the opportunity to meet others fishing on the lake and gave us some helpful tips and also meeting close by neighbors. Everyone was extremely nice! The owner was had excellent quick communication. This place is a gem! We cannot wait time come back and enjoy next year! - the one downfall was parking but after a couple days we figured it out. :) Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!!

A great week at the lake up north
We had a great time at Northern Memories last week. The house had everything we needed. Boat was awesome and so fun to use. Lakefront is lovely. Dock is in great shape. The deck and fire pit are perfect for enjoying the lake views at all hours of the day and night. Although there are other houses closeby, you feel secluded - the setting is very private. Would highly recommend this property to friends!
