Where the Broadway Stars Vacation! Private Woodstock getaway & walk to town!

A Broadway music director purchased this Woodstock home in 2015, and since then it's become the favorite getaway for many of Broadway's finest. Now open to the public!

This warm, rustic, and welcoming home, designed by a visual artist, is the perfect vacation and weekend getaway. With its sprawling windows, the elevated house seats you in the heart of spectacular forest serenity and views which can be enjoyed from every room in the house while being just walking distance from town.

The chef’s kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook, and just as inviting for those who prefer to order food from one of the fine restaurants in town. Enjoy entertaining in the indoor dining room or on the huge back deck, which provides the perfect setting for barbecuing, dining, reading, and peaceful star-gazing.

The house sleeps up to 8 and offers 3 master bedrooms, all with private en suite bathrooms, perfect for 3 couples to share or a family. Watch cable TV or a movie on the flat screen TV in the upstairs living room, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the spacious downstairs music room/ living room where there is a grand piano and other musical instruments, various board games, and another large flat screen TV (both with Netflix and Cable).

Just a 20 minute tree-lined walk or 3 minute drive to the center of the beautiful village of Woodstock with its fine restaurants and arts, and from ‘Big Deep’ - where swimming in the natural waters is at its best.

The vibrant village of Woodstock, with its fine restaurants, cocktail bars, art galleries and shops, is located in the Catskill Mountains which offer a wide variety of outdoor activities, hiking and sports. Under 2 hours from NYC, completely private and secluded by trees yet a stone's throw again from town, this home is perfect for those looking for a getaway from the city or for the artist wanting to create. Located on Plochmann Lane, custom-designed by a local architect and just down the road from the famous Levon Helm Studio, this spot is Woodstock at its absolute finest.

Girls Weekend

Loved our stay and the house. Everything was wonderful. I will say it was a little farther than 'a walk into town' and we did Uber everywhere. Everything at the house was great - nice relaxing spot!!

Great place

The house was clean, spacious and in a great location, close to town but also quiet. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here next time you’re in Woodstock.

A perfect weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at this home! It is full of so much light and good vibes. We planned the weekend around a concert at Levon Helms studio, which was right down the street. The owners/management were wonderful & easy to get in touch with (not that we needed anything). The deck & music room were enjoyed the most :)

Great Woodstock home base

Beautiful house! Great location! The house overall exceeded our expectations! A bit bright in the mornings, good to know in case you are looking to try and sleep in. King bed in the master is super comfortable and the shower is awesome! Would definitely stay again.

Amazing property!!

Excellent location

A very spacious and tidy home with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Check in process was very easy. The location is half a mile away from the main Woodstock town strip full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Would definitely book again!

Fabulous Couples' Getaway

The house is lovely. Cozy and roomy at once. The main living room comfortably fit three couples w room to spare. We cooked, ate, played games (lots were offered), walked into town (many times). It was a beautiful setting and a perfect getaway weekend for our group. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!

My friends and I had a wonderful visit. The property is lovely, and the house is large, beautifully appointed and comfortable. You can tell how much care and thought went into designing the space. Beautiful get away

Stayed with family and friends. Loved the large open design of the house. Also loved that the bedrooms all had their each bathroom it was like we all had a hotel room of our own. I would love to come back in the summer. Our whole gang loved the house. Lastly the downstairs area is great if you are traveling with children.

Our group of 6 women stayed for a long weekend for the Woodstock Film Festival. House is in a great location, has great amenities, super spacious. Very clean and well kept. Walkable to town, but still very remote feeling. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. Will definitely stay again!

Woodstock Wonderful!

Six seniors stayed at this home for my daughter's wedding in Saugerties. The commute was easy, and the accommodations worked very well for us. Three master bedrooms meant that there was ample room to get ready. The large living area was a comfortable place to unwind, and the kitchen (that we never used!) was spacious. It was an idea home for the 6 (three couples) of us.

Perfection!

This house was truly a blessing for our family! The master suite stunned the grandparents and they enjoyed the luxurious bath and the space to spread out. The kids loved all the board games and having space to play and run around. We were greeted by deer in the huge garden and loved watching the critters in the woods. The pictures don't show how beautiful the house truly is!

Spacious house on lovely property near everything

Loved our stay in this very roomy and comfortable home about 3 min drive from the town of Woodstock and close to great hiking and other ulster county attractions. Host was very accommodating with our arrival plans. Great deck with giant outdoor lawn area and light-filled living space. The house had a few quirky attributes ( one bathroom had unusual shower head placement and a few kitchen outlets we could not get to work) but nothing that impeded a wonderful stay! Would 100% return and really hope to do so soon!

Great House

This was my family's second stay this summer, and it was awesome. We love the house (obviously) and the location is perfect for checking out Woodstock and the surrounding natural beauty. The hiking trails in the area are pretty incredible, including a number of very cool waterfalls. The house is secluded (in a good way), but in walking distance to the Woodstock business district. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We'll be back ... again!

We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much.
