"Bed and cleanliness was excellent. Food was great and property was quieter than most places I've stayed at in past 5 years. I would definitely stay again. "

"Bear Lodge is very comfortable and felt like home. The back patio is relaxing and the backyard is peaceful and quiet. The inside is decorated nicely and all the furniture (couch, bed, etc) are really comfortable. Keith and Susan are great hosts and have included just about everything a person needs. Definitely enjoyed my stay at Bear Lodge!"
"House was in a great location and neighborhood but we were disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the house especially for the price we were paying for it. We brought my 3 month old and 2 year old and the bathtub definitely did not get cleaned prior to us and the sheets, pillow cases, and some towels looked like they were not properly washed because there were marks on them. Half of the beds didn’t even have a sheet on them. Went to wash them ourselves but the washing machine was already full of things (like the missing sheets) pthat had been washed and forgotten about. House wasn’t renovated well, a floorboard would pop up in the kitchen (trip hazard) and the backyard needs to be weeded and dog poop removed because some bushes are very pokey and we had to be careful with my 2 year old. The back door was the worst because it was extremely hard to open and shut so only my husband could do it. The carbon monoxide detector started beeping for its end of life late warning at night, it was replaced the next evening but we asked for them not to ring the doorbell and wake the kids but they did anyway. The house has potential to be a great rental but a lot of things need to be taken care of to make it safe and enjoyable. "
"My daughter loved her stay. She said the hosts were very nice and helpful. She had difficulty cooking a meal the first night and the host sent her a video on how go use the stove since it was a kitchenaid and not traditional. She said that the accommodations were beautiful as well. "
