"We understood from reading others’ reviews there was a renovation going on. We did not get a renovated room. We were prepared for that and made sure we brought our ‘hotel room’ shoes. The carpet is old, stained and sticky. As long as you prepare for that, the room itself was clean and beds decent enough. The staff were friendly and the hot breakfast was great. For the price, knowing the hotel was currently going through a renovation, it met our expectations."

"This was a beautiful place to stay for a family gathering. Lots of room. It does get quite warm in the cabin on hot days with no air conditioning. We made sure to pack fans and that seemed to help. There are fans in the cabin but bring extra if you can! The backyard area is spacious for everyone to hangout in and the patio area has lots of seating room. I really liked the 2 fire pit areas. One is covered and that was nice on our rainy evening. All in all it was a great place to stay and I definitely recommend it to other people looking to gather with a large amount of people!"
