"We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel. The location was perfect, and we especially appreciated the large amount of on-site parking, which made things very convenient. We were aware that there is no traditional front desk at the property, but the check-in process was incredibly easy. There is a computer screen with an actual person available to talk you through the check-in and check-out process. The person assisting us was friendly, kind, and very helpful, so we had no issues at all. The rooms are very comfortable and have a lot of charm. One of the unique touches we loved was the little notes left by previous guests in the bricks throughout the property—it gives the hotel a really personal and memorable feel. One thing I missed when booking, however, was that the building is right beside the train tracks. There are several trains throughout the day and night, and they do blow their whistles at all hours. If you are a light sleeper, this is definitely something to be aware of when choosing this property. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought this was a charming, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel."

"Quiet. Conveniently located near the highway, but you would never know you're that close. Within walking distance to Dollar General, which was nice. House is cozy and comfortable and has laundry access. Games, movies, and snacks available and were a nice touch. My only complaint was how stiff the bed was. If you like stiff mattresses, it will be perfect, but if your back is like mine, it might be a little rough."

"I was very impressed with how clean and comfortable all the rooms were. Close to all the "big things" in Casey. There are golf carts to rent which could prove useful. We didn't rent them but they looked in really good working order! Beautiful park across the street for nice front porch viewing, too!"

"My family and I really liked "Our Neck of the Woods" cottage. We were returning home from a vacation in Michigan to St Louis and thought I'd be fun to go into Casey, IL to see all the world's biggest attractions before closing the book on vacation 2026. This property is quiet and welcoming. We had dinner at Richard's Farm Restaurant and it was excellent. We also saw a deer 10 yards from the cottage out back and a muskrat in the pdnd below along with other bird wildlife. Thank you for sharing your country getaway!"

"Lisa was wonderful to work with and the house was set up perfect for our short girls weekend. Everything was clean and taken care of, it was easy to find and check in was seamless. It is right across the street from a park and sidewalks to walk all around on. We walked the park a few times during our stay and it was very peaceful and quiet."
