Short family getaway

We needed a nice place to stay for a few days near Sight and Sound theater. The place was very clean and spacious. My children loved the big room upstairs with there private bathroom. We had a great time and would love to come back some day.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and the perfect location. To get to Lancaster activities we had planned only a 25 min drive. 12 mins from turkey hill which we love the turkey hill experience. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here with some family for a local wedding at Lauxmont. The house was super clean and well equipped. The yard and hot tub was a great add. Location across the river was perfect and only 5 minutes from the venue. Would stay again!

Kids weekend

I brought my nieces and nephews (7 kiddos) here for a long weekend away. House was great for all of us. Plenty of room to spread out. Living room was great for movie time. Kids loved the hot tub. Views were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Family gathered from near and far for the weekend to see a show and this location was a lovely hidden spot away from Lancaster busy-ness. Beautiful. Very clean. Loved the open floor plan and spacious rooms.

Family vacation of three generations. Plenty of room for nine. House was clean upon arrival and beds were comfortable. Beautiful back porch which we enjoyed to play family games. Hot tub a plus and outside fire pit with chairs for all. Good location for day trips to visit Gettysburg and Hersey. Wonderful memories made.

Thanksgiving retreat with kids & SO’s

Returned ‘home’ to York County with my 3 grown children & their significant others. Rented Schoolhouse up the street for daughter, SIL & granddaughter, from same owner. This cabin has a great open floor plan for family gathering,a fire pit, hot tub, etc….all amenities were provided, everyone had a lovely time!

Graduation weekend

We enjoyed the house and porch very much. Kitchen was very limited in terms of utensils, and basic items. No steak knives, 1 kitchen cloth and towel, no crockpot, and the propane tank was nearly empty. The rooms and interior were described well. The owner was responsive to questions and if we had been there longer, we would have asked about propane but made what we had work.

Beautiful Clean home inside and outside.

Very clean beautiful home inside and outside. Everything worked perfectly. Does have road noise when trying to sleep and front drive is very close highway which cars drive rather fast on. Must be careful with small children or dogs out front door. Back of home and side yard is much safer.

Lake View Stay

We stayed as we were visiting the area and this seemed like it would work for our family. We stayed gone most of our stay and it was a place to sleep and do our laundry and relax after a day of being gone. We did not cook anything but used the coffee pot and fridge for some snacks. The hot tub was used one of the evenings but didn't get hot enough for us. This was one of the main reasons for this stay for us after days of driving and on our feet. Everything else was good. A few minor things we sent to the property manager that needed fixed but just normal items, nothing worth notating. The Manager was prompt on responses and accommodated a few hours early to drop our stuff off so we could head to a play without all our belongings staying in the car.

This was a wonderful place to do a cozy family Christmas away from home. We found the kitchen very well stocked with the necessary equipment for fixing elaborate meals. There was plenty of space for playing games, etc. The bedrooms were sufficiently private from each other. The "cabin" is beautiful and comfortable. There was even talk of doing this again in the summer!
