I haven’t been to mainland China in a while, and I was truly impressed! I landed at Wuhan Airport Terminal 2 around 9:40 PM — the hotel is right across the street! You can’t beat the location. Holiday Inn shares a modern, beautiful building with Crowne Plaza. Everything feels brand new and thoughtfully designed. The front desk warmly welcomed my family, signed us up for IHG membership, and upgraded our room. I wasn’t wearing my glasses, so I couldn’t catch the name of the wonderful staff — otherwise I’d thank her by name! Before arriving, I messaged the hotel via Expedia. They replied quickly and professionally. That gave me great peace of mind. Our room was spacious, quiet, and super clean. The shower was excellent, and the bathroom was fresh and well laid out. The thick carpets in the hallway make for great sound insulation! Service was fast — every request was handled within 5 minutes. The gym and pool were spotless too. I’ll absolutely stay here again on my next transit through Wuhan. Highly recommended!

Generally very nice hotel. Only complaint which is not needed for a general hotel stay is they don’t have a sauna or steam room. Generally western hotels have these amenities in china. It enhances the stay and especially before a flight is excellent.

The main culture shock for a first time visitor to China from the US, is how modern everything is and how helpful people are. Holiday Inn at Wuhan airport is no exception, the guys went out of their way to accommodate my late arrival due to a flight delay, and in the morning provided me with an complimentary airport cart voucher so I could get faster to my terminal. Everything was top notch, location right across from the terminal, comfortable room with all amenities. Now I definitely have a reason to return to Wuhan.

Very patient and helpful to answer my questions about how to transfer at and commute to WUH airport. They offer free shuttle service between T2/T3 terminals. Very new property and building and rooms are pretty spacious. Vouched for my membership and offered free drinks. They guaranteed late checkout but I had an early flight so didn’t get a chance to enjoy that and breakfast, though. Overall, it’s a very good experience.
